I have ve grown up with dogs throughout my life, from German Shepherds in my childhood to Beagles as an adult, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my everyday life. While I am new to professional dog sitting, I have plenty of hands-on experience looking after dogs and understanding the attention, affection and routine they need. I’m used to regular walks, playtime, feeding, bathing and, most importantly, giving them plenty of company and affection. Having lived with both large, active German Shepherds and curious, energetic Beagles, I am comfortable with different sizes, personalities and energy levels. I know every dog has their own habits and routine, and I am very happy to follow your instructions closely so they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away or busy. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and would treat yours with the same care, patience and affection I’ve always given my own.

I’ve known my sister’s love for dogs for as long as I can remember. When we were little, we had German Shepherds, and she absolutely adored them and she treated them like her own sons. Ludo has always had such a special connection with dogs, and that hasn’t changed as she’s grown up. She’s naturally so gentle and caring with them, and genuinely loves spending time with them. I’ve always seen how happy she is around dogs, so I know she’ll give every dog she looks after plenty of love, attention and cuddles. I honestly couldn’t think of anyone better to trust with your furry friend!

She is always gentle and patient, and genuinely enjoys spending time with pets. Ludovica is attentive to their needs and would make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Her kindness, reliability, and love for animals would make her an excellent pet sitter, and I would be very happy to trust her with any pet. Ludovica also did a great job of looking after our family beagles, Rosie and Lucy.

Schedule
I’m currently job hunting and working from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and am home for most of the day. I naturally take regular breaks to get outdoors, which means I can easily accommodate frequent walks, playtime, feeding and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available from morning to evening and can adapt my routine to your dog’s usual schedule and needs.

I live in a comfortable apartment with two spacious, fully enclosed concrete balconies, providing some additional secure outdoor space and fresh air. Dogs would always be supervised and would never be left outside unattended. I understand how important it is for a dog to feel safe and comfortable in a new environment, so I’m happy to follow their usual routine, including feeding times, walks, sleeping arrangements and any instructions from their owner. I keep the home calm and tidy, make sure they have plenty of attention and fresh water, and always prioritise their safety and wellbeing. When caring for a dog in their own home, I’m equally happy to follow the owner’s routine closely so they can remain comfortable in their familiar environment.
A typical day
A typical day would include plenty of walks, playtime and attention! I love getting outdoors, so depending on your dog’s usual routine and energy level, we can enjoy regular walks around the neighbourhood and trips to a nearby park for some fresh air and exercise. At home, there will be plenty of playtime with their favourite toys, games and, of course, lots of cuddles and attention. I also make sure dogs have time to relax and feel comfortable between activities. Every dog is different, so I’m happy to adapt the day to their personality, age and normal routine, whether they love long walks and lots of play, or prefer shorter outings and more relaxed company at home.

- I’d love to know as much as possible about your dog’s usual routine so I can make their stay feel comfortable and familiar. Please let me know about their feeding and walking schedule, favourite activities and toys, sleeping habits, personality and anything that makes them particularly happy or comfortable. It’s also helpful to know how they behave around other dogs and people, whether they have any fears or triggers, if they experience separation anxiety, and whether there are any behaviours I should be aware of. Please also let me know about any allergies, medical needs, dietary requirements or other special care instructions. The more I know about their normal routine and little quirks, the easier it is for me to help them feel safe, relaxed and at home!
