Hello! My name is Ludmila, but you can call me Lud. I live in Blackrock, Cork with my husband, Leo. I grew up surrounded by animals. We had dogs, cats, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, hamsters. Since I was a child I have had a lot of love for all of them. After I became an adult, I had my dog, Baco. The great love of my life, my son. He passed away in 2023 at almost 17 years old, leaving a deep feeling of sadness. I decided to become a pet sitter to help me cope with my longing and fill his absence. I know what it's like to love a dog and want it to be well, and I know how difficult it is to leave it with someone and be away from them. I will do absolutely everything to ensure that your pet is well cared for and misses you as little as possible. I will give lots of love. My dog gave me a lot of experience in all the care that an elderly dog might needed, such as mobility difficulties, dementia, assistance with eating and drinking, blindness, medications, and of course, lots of love. If your dog has special needs, you can count on me. Your dog will be very welcomed in my house and do whatever he wants. He will know that this is his home too. Here, he's in charge! My house is spacious, has an enclosed yard, faces a large park, and is very close to wooded trails (The Marina and Blackrock Railway Greenway). It's the ideal place to distract your dog while you relax and enjoy your holiday. I have a stroller and a bicycle with a basket for walking, in case he enjoys it or needs it to help with mobility, and to enhance our walks. I have also worked as a volunteer at an animal shelter.
