Loving care while you’re away

In-Home Dog Boarding in a Loving, Spacious Home 🐾 Welcome! We are a dog-loving couple offering in-home dog boarding in a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. My husband, Hai, is a software engineer, and I work as a logistics dispatcher. Since we both work from home, dogs receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. Our 3,200 sq ft home provides plenty of indoor space for dogs to relax and feel at home. Dogs are welcome on furniture, and we have a fully fenced backyard where they can safely enjoy outdoor time. Potty breaks and supervised playtime are provided throughout the day. We provide daily walks and follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable during their stay. For safety, dogs are fed separately using baby gates and separate rooms. We are happy to follow special feeding instructions, including food preparation or heating. We welcome dogs with special needs and can assist with medications, injections, senior care, and additional monitoring when needed. With over 2 years of experience on Rover, we provide a dependable home-away-from-home where dogs are treated like family and receive the care, comfort, and attention they deserve. We look forward to caring for your dog while you’re away!

This was our first time leaving Einstein with Lucy, and we had a great experience. He was very responsive and kept us updated with messages and photos throughout his stay. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing he was being well cared for. Einstein seemed happy and comfortable, and it was clear he received plenty of attention and affection. We would definitely trust Lucy with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. 🐾

Hai and Lucy took wonderful care of our two pets, sending daily photos and updates and making sure they got plenty of walks. We were initially hesitant since one of our dogs is 15 and the other has knee problems, but they handled both dogs with such care that our worries quickly disappeared. We definitely recommend!!

Very kind and friendly family. My dog seemed really happy and well kept. She was taken for multiple walks a day. They kept me posted with pictures each time as well. Very prompt at replying. My flight was delayed and they were very generous in obliging with a late night pick up.

Schedule

Pet care is fully integrated into my daily routine to ensure dogs receive consistent attention, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. Each morning around 7 AM, dogs are taken on a walk followed by interactive time and breakfast. Around midday, dogs are given supervised outdoor time in the backyard for exercise, potty breaks, and fresh air before resting. In the late afternoon around 5 PM, they enjoy additional outdoor playtime and enrichment activities before dinner. Around 9 PM, dogs are taken on an evening walk to help them relax and maintain a healthy routine before bedtime. Throughout the day, I prioritize a safe, clean, and comfortable environment while providing regular interaction, monitoring, and personalized care based on each dog’s needs. Both of us work remotely from home full-time, which allows for consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. Hai works in software development, and I work in logistics and transportation, so pets are rarely left unattended for extended periods of time. For house sitting services, one of us is able to remain at the client’s home for the majority of the stay to maintain the pet’s normal routine, provide companionship, and ensure ongoing supervision and care. In order to maintain a high standard of care and attention, we limit our services and do not overbook, but we do accept multiple booking at same time. We will make sure dogs are comfortable with others.

Safety, trust & environment

I provide a safe, clean, and structured environment where pets are treated like family. In my home, dogs are supervised throughout the day and follow a consistent routine that includes walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, rest, and regular interaction. I make sure each pet has access to fresh water, a comfortable resting area, and plenty of attention. I carefully introduce dogs to each other based on temperament and comfort level, and I always prioritize safety during feeding times, outdoor play, and rest periods. Pets are never left unattended outside, and I closely monitor their behavior to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication routines, exercise preferences, and household rules. I also provide updates, photos, and communication so owners can feel confident their pets are being well cared for while they are away.

A typical day

We like to keep activities fun but relaxed, based on each dog’s personality and energy level. Dogs enjoy spending time in our fenced backyard where they can relax, explore, and run around freely. We also take them on daily walks for exercise and fresh air. Throughout the day, we share treat time (with owner approval), gentle play, and plenty of affection. At home, we often give dogs cuddles, belly rubs, and pets, helping them feel loved and comfortable. Our goal is to make their stay feel like a happy, stress-free time rather than a structured or overwhelming schedule

It’s important for us to know your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, and any dietary restrictions ahead of time. We also like to understand their personality, energy level, and comfort with other dogs, so we can provide the best possible environment for them. Please let us know about any medical needs, including medications, injections, allergies, or health concerns, as well as any recent changes in behavior. Information about house rules (such as furniture access), separation needs, or sensitivities is also very helpful. The more we know about your dog’s habits and preferences, the easier it is for us to help them feel comfortable, safe, and at home during their stay.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
