Pet care experience

Trusted Home Sighthound Boarding

I provide a loving, safe home-from-home boarding service specifically for sighthounds. I have a whippet named Max, who has a calm and friendly nature and is used to sharing his space with other dogs, helping new arrivals feel relaxed and at home. I have a real understanding of the unique traits and needs of sighthounds, from their love of comfort and sleep to their sensitivity and bursts of speed, I will tailor my care to suit your dog and the natural temperament of sighthounds. Dogs in my care are treated like part of the family, they are fully welcome on sofas and beds, with plenty of cosy spots to relax and family members who also love a cuddle! They’ll enjoy a peaceful environment, consistent routines, lots of play time and cuddles and exercise suited to their needs. I also keep owners updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is comfortable, settled, and well cared for.

Paddy had a wonderful time with Lucy and her family. He clearly loved hanging out with another whippet and was so well cared for. Paddy & Max seem very similar and it’s fab to find someone who knows how to look after the eccentricities of a sighthound - 100% recommend!

Lucy looked after our whippet on a few occasions and sent us regular photos and updates which we loved. We felt she was caring and really understood our pet and treated her just like her own. Very pleased overall

Safety, trust & environment

I provide a safe, calm, and secure home environment tailored to the unique straights of sighthounds. Dog in my care are always kept on lead during walks unless in fully secure areas. My home is set up with soft resting spaces and full access to sofas, blankets and beds. I have a secure fenced garden which dogs have access to all day and will walk dogs 2-3 times a day or tailor this to your dogs requirements. I take time to understand each dog’s routine and preferences to help them settle quickly and feel at ease. Introductions are done carefully with my calm and friendly whippet, Max, to ensure a positive experience.
