My full-time job is dog walking and pet sitting, and I’m mainly available during the week. On weekends, I often attend pop-up markets with my natural dog treat business, so availability may be limited

Safety, trust & environment
I have a safe, fenced garden and two gentle, friendly Labradors who love having company. If your dog prefers their own quiet space, I can easily set up a separate area, and I also have room for a crate if that helps them feel more at home.

A typical day
A typical day with me starts with a gentle walk around the block to stretch legs and enjoy a bit of fresh air, followed by breakfast. Mornings can be tailored to your dog’s personality—some enjoy a calm, relaxed start to the day, while others love a bit of playful interaction. In the afternoon, we go out for another short walk before returning home for a little treat time with a lick mat, kong, or long-lasting chew to keep them happily occupied. Later in the day, we enjoy a longer evening stroll to help burn off energy and take in the sights and smells of the neighbourhood. Back at home, it’s dinner time, followed by a bit more play and attention. The day finishes on a cozy note with cuddles on the sofa, helping your dog feel relaxed and content before bedtime. Every day is about keeping your dog happy, comfortable, and loved, just like they’re part of the family.

Pet care experience
I have over six years of hands-on experience as a dog owner, raising and training my two Labradors from puppies. My journey with dogs began even earlier, caring for my husband’s family Labrador from the age of 18, including managing his medication and providing gentle care in his later years. Over time, I’ve looked after many friends’ and family members’ dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. Whether it’s training, exercise, playtime, or administering medication, I provide reliable and compassionate care tailored to each dog’s needs.

Reviews

Lucy did a fantastic job of looking after Mabel, especially grateful as it was short notice. It’s so lovely to meet such a genuine nice person with an affinity for dogs. It was a pleasure to have her in the house and I had 100% confidence in her abilities and Mabel took to her straight away.

Lucy was AMAZING. I got lovely detailed updates on how my cat was doing, lots of photos, and kept in really good contact if there was anything she needed. My cat was also super content when I got home. Would 100% recommend!💖

Thank you for looking after Romi

Lucy was great! She turned up on time, the boys loved her and sent pictures of them getting lots of cuddles and love ♥️ thank you so much for taking such good care of the boys and I look forward to rebooking with you soon x
