My journey with dogs began even earlier, caring for my husband’s family Labrador from the age of 18, including managing his medication and providing gentle care in his later years. Over time, I’ve looked after many friends’ and family members’ dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. Whether it’s training, exercise, playtime, or administering medication, I provide reliable and compassionate care tailored to each dog’s needs.

Lucy has been absolutely outstanding. She looked after our 20-year-old cat, Filou, for the last three months while we were away, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She went above and beyond every single day. She took wonderful care of Filou, made sure he took his daily medication, cleaned up immediately whenever he had an accident, kept the windows open on warm days so he could enjoy some fresh air, and even put his water in the fridge so he always had cool water to drink. She also watered our plants and, when Filou needed veterinary care, she kindly took him to the vet on our behalf. It was clear from everything she did that she genuinely cared about his comfort and wellbeing. Knowing that Filou was in such loving and capable hands gave us complete peace of mind throughout our time away. Lucy is, without a doubt, the best cat sitter we have ever had. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and truly dedicated to caring for their pets. Thank you so much, Lucy!
This was our first time using Rover, and Lucy has set the bar very high. Lucy came to the house a few days before our trip to introduce herself and meet our elderly cat. She was on time, asked all the right questions, and you could see she has done this many times before. Lucy kept us up to date throughout our trip on how our cat was doing and sent pictures too. Great service and we had peace of mind the whole trip knowing Lucy was looking after Sheba AKA Beanie.
An amazing cat sitter. This was our first time booking a sitter for our little fur baby and we are beyond grateful for coming across Lucy! She was very friendly and got along with our cat within the first 5 minutes. She made sure to give us very detailed updates every day as well as follow the instructions we asked of her perfectly. Would definitely book again! Thanks for giving us all a great experience :)

Lucy did a fantastic job of looking after Mabel, especially grateful as it was short notice. It’s so lovely to meet such a genuine nice person with an affinity for dogs. It was a pleasure to have her in the house and I had 100% confidence in her abilities and Mabel took to her straight away.

Schedule
I have recently gone back into the world of education as a teaching assistant after a 1 year break (during this time I was a dog walker & pet sitter full time). My hours are 8:30-3:30 during the week, so I am available for morning & afternoon/evening pop-ins (with more availablity during half terms & summer holidays). I am available some weekends however I run a dog treat business that I take to pop-up markets so availability can sometimes be limited!
