I’m a medical student at VCU on summer break and missing my own pets at home. I’ve walked neighborhood dogs and fostered shelter dogs and cats for several years and have volunteered walking dogs at Richmond Animal League (RAL) for the past year. I’m responsible, hardworking, and dependable and looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

I’m comfortable caring for your pets in my apartment having fostered pets here in the past or coming to your home. I’ve worked with shy dogs, energetic pups, playful puppies and everything in-between! I’m comfortable with a range and have also given medications and done some training if that’s something that needs to be continued.

Lucy was great! She handled our pups like one of her own and one of our dogs who is hesitant of meeting new people warmed up to her immediately!
Our dog Millie enjoyed a delightful evening when Lucy stayed with her last night, her first visit. Millie hasn't stopped talking about how much fun she had, and can't wait to have Lucy sit with her again!
Lucy took care of our senior dog for 2 days while we were out of town. She was super easy to communicate with and took great care of our dog. She administered oral medications and made sure his specialized needs were met as he has decreased mobility in his hips. Would highly recommend her!! Lazer was very happy when we returned home.
Lucy was great! She provided updates, and made my first experience with Rover super simple.
Lucy is the best!! She has taken wonderful care of my beagle baby Moe several times for multiple days. She took him on adventure walks, snuggled him, and made sure he stuck to his hypoallergenic diet. She sent the cutest photos of him, with updates, daily. Moe is always happy to see Lucy. I can tell he feels truly comfortable with her and I know she takes just as good care of him as I do.
Lucy is a dream dog sitter and walker! She is kind and attentive and gives plenty of snuggles. She has lots of experience with all kinds of dogs from my rambunctious GSP who must be run to delicate elderly doggies that need TLC. 5 stars!

Schedule
I’m a medical student on summer break for the next couple months and will be doing research remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible and I can adapt my timing to yours.
