I’m currently in a flexible phase of life, which gives me lots of availability for pet care—especially dog boarding and walking. I love having dogs around and can provide a calm, attentive home-away-from-home. I’m also happy to get them out for regular walks, whether it’s part of their daily routine or just when you need an extra hand. Your pup’s happiness and comfort are my priority!

Whether your pup is hanging out at my place or I’m stopping by yours, their comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I stick to their routine—meals, walks, belly rubs, you name it! At my home, they’ll have a secure, good-sized fenced yard to sniff, zoom, and lounge in. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel relaxed and loved. You’ll get plenty of updates and cute pics so you never have to wonder how they’re doing!

I want every pet to feel safe, happy, and understood—so the more I know ahead of time, the better! Please share anything that will help me care for your pup, including any behaviors I should be aware of. Are they reactive to certain triggers like people, animals, or cars? Do they guard food, toys, or space? I’m also happy to follow special routines, give medications, or adjust activities based on your pet’s needs. The goal is to make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home.
A typical day
A typical day starts with a morning stroll to the park with my dog Layla, and we usually head back out in the evening for another walk. Depending on the day, we might lounge in the yard soaking up the sun, splash around in the dog pool, or head out on a trail adventure at places like Castlewood or Mastodon State Park. At home, there’s plenty of space to play, sniff, and relax in the fenced yard. Layla is playful but respectful—she’s great at making new friends and happy to share her toys (and favorite sunny spots)!

Pet care experience
From high-energy shepherds to my own treat-loving husky mix, I’ve had years of experience with smart, spirited dogs. Training my rescue through obedience classes taught me the power of patience, love, and value of a good snack! I also volunteer with Stray Rescue, so I’m used to handling all kinds of pups in busy city settings. I have cared for senior dogs and am always gentle, attentive, and happy to move at their pace. Walks, wags, and good vibes always included!

Lucy was fantastic with Koda! He's a high-energy adolescent shepherd mix, so I'm always grateful when I find someone who really understands dogs and is thoughtful about introductions, play, and group dynamics. She sent updates and videos throughout the weekend, which I appreciated so much, and it was clear that Koda was having an absolute blast. He came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. As a dog sitter myself, I can be a little picky about who I leave my dog with, and I would not hesitate to book with Lucy again. Highly recommend!

This was my first time needing a sitter for Harley, and Lucy (with Layla) was wonderful. She was very reassuring (I was very nervous, Harley is not a small dog) and sent delightful updates and pictures. Layla (Lucy's dog) and Harley got on well and Harley was glad to come home but had clearly enjoyed her stay. I will definitely hope to rebook Lucy the next time Harley can't accompany us on a trip.
Lucy did an amazing job watching our Reggie boy. She sent pictures and updates throughout the week, and was very responsive during our trip, and flexible with drop off and pick up times. Would definitely reccommend!
