I've grown up surrounded by animals and always loved them! I had a Golden Retriever who sadly passed away a few years ago. I trained him from 8 weeks and he was a 43kg bundle and love and fun. I moved to London to study musical theatre and after a few years I’m back in Manchester after just buying a house. I miss having pets myself and not being able to fill that missing part of my life. I have also worked at pets at home for just under 2 years where i also received training in the groom room which also required animal behaviour and medical courses.

This was our first time using the Rover app and leaving our dog with someone else and Lucy made the entire process seamless. Lucy was professional, friendly, amazing with our dog, punctual, tidy and made us 100% comfortable and confident leaving our dog. And most importantly our dog (who is very anxious) was completely happy too. I would highly recommend Lucy to anyone looking for a dog sitter.

I am currently just out of an acting job doing War Horse tour so I’m now completely free to work with an owners busy schedule! My moto: Don't ask don't get. If i can help out with your furry family member i will always try my very best to put them first!

I cannot have dogs over really as I am staying at my sisters and they have a whippet but i am experienced in animal care with grooming and would know how to keep them calm and collected in the home and on walkies!
A typical day
I love a long walk with dogs. Not only is it important to give them a long enough work BUT to be engaging. Letting them sniff too and then if we get back and they still need a bit more i have lots of fun playing games. Hide is seek always being a favourite
