Hello! I’m Lucy, and I’m truly passionate about caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve raised my own little terrier, Maya, from puppyhood through to senior years; I know just how much love, patience, and understanding this entails. I also volunteer with Underdog International, a fantastic dog charity in my spare time. Through this, and my own experience, I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs - young and old, anxious and outgoing, energetic and laid-back. I’m confident in all aspects of care, from walking and feeding to bathing, playtime and administering medication if needed. If your pet has specific needs, just let me know when you book as I’m always happy to accommodate.

Lucy was absolutely amazing with Lyla! She kept me updated the entire time with regular messages and sent the cutest photos and videos, you could just tell Lyla was having the best time and felt totally comfortable with her. She followed all my notes and requests to a T, which gave me such peace of mind. I got to properly relax and enjoy my holiday knowing Lyla was in safe, loving hands. Can’t recommend Lucy enough! We’ll definitely be booking her again!
Lucy took great care of my dog, Giuseppe, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. She was very attentive, kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me real peace of mind, and it was clear that Giuseppe was having a fantastic time with her. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after. I could tell Lucy genuinely cared for him and did an excellent job. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Lucy took such great care of Hamish which wasn’t easy in a brutal heatwave and one there being a huge thunderstorm the first night which Hamish is terrified of. Hamish settled in really quickly and we know that when we leave him with Lucy again he will be in excellent hands. Thank you Lucy 😊🐾
Lucy was an enthusiastic puppy hostess. It’s clear she made our pet’s stay enjoyable, as he came back with his tail wagging. And no fuss over a little accident on the kitchen floor.

Schedule
I currently work a four day week from home, Monday-Thursday alongside my partner Oli. We’re both civil servants with flexible schedules, so between us, your dog with have plenty of company and opportunities for walks and play!

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a spacious two bed flat in Hackney Central, with no pets of our own and no children. There’s access to a large gated garden and we’re just an 8 minute walk from London Fields. The bottom line is that your dog’s wellbeing and safety is always my top priority. I provide a calm, supportive and secure environment and follow your instructions closely. I’m always happy to accommodate special routines, dietary needs or quirks to ensure your dog feels comfortable and safe.
A typical day
I tailor each day to your dog’s individual needs and am happy to stick to their usual routine as much as possible while keeping walks varied and exciting. A typical day might include a morning walk in London fields followed by a big afternoon walk in Victoria park or if they’re comfortable on the overground, a stroll in Hampstead heath or Epping forest. If your dog is super energetic, they might even accompany me on a run! If you’ve got more of a senior pup that likes to chill, I’m happy to provide plenty of cuddles and let them onto my comfortable sofa. For any specific games or training, just let me know and I’m happy to keep this up! You’ll receive regular photo updates so you can see your dog having a good time. 😊
