Dependable dog-walker and pet-sitter in Ely
I have been regularly walking other people’s dogs since 2018 and I love it. I have had regular arrangements since January 2022, where I've been walking the same dogs every week (sometimes several times a week) whatever the weather for over a year. I have lived in Ely my whole life and know many good routes that take your dog to wide open spaces. At home where I live with my parents we have two cats and four chickens, and I attend to their needs daily, from feeding and cleaning to games. I would be delighted to give the same attention to your pets with house-sitting or drop-ins, whether they are dogs, cats or anything else.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I am autistic, which makes many professions inaccessible to me despite being academically gifted. Therefore I am not really a “people person”, but I have a great affinity with animals. I may seem awkward on first meeting you but I am very good at listening to instructions about your pet’s needs and following them faithfully.

I have used Lucy a couple of times now and she is just brilliant. Really accommodating and my 2 pups love her. She sends regular pictures to reassure me they are happy with her. I have no hesitation in recommending Lucy and will definitely use her again.

Lucy has been great when looking after Asha, and she was available last minute to help us out. Lucy popped round a day or so before to meet with Asha and confirm that they were compatible. I felt reassured that Lucy was confident and comforting when looking after Asha. I would definitely recommend Lucy in the future.
Lucy was amazing with Pebbles! At our meet and greet, Pebbles really took to her while I could see that Lucy had an affinity for animals simply based on their interaction. This filled me with confidence! Lucy arrived on time. When they came back Pebbles was so happy and slightly less energetic from the walk (if labs ever get tired). I’m confident that Lucy is an attentive and kind dog walker and would definitely recommend her (and book her for Pebbles again!). Thank you so much Lucy!

Schedule
My availability is very flexible and I will do my best to fit around whatever your schedule needs, seven days a week, including at short notice. Unfortunately I don't drive so usually only accept requests from within Ely.
