Availability

I can work from home and my hours are flexible to work around the pups needs when doing so! Plus I already require daily walks myself 😆 I’m afraid I can’t commit to open ended repeat walks/visits as availability fluctuates so requests would require an end date. Also for bookings much further away I may need to add a couple quid to the rate just to cover my travel (as Rover takes a fair bit!) but that can be discussed on a case by case basis :)

Safety, trust & environment

I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or staying at your home, I’ll stick to their usual routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they’re well cared for. On walks, I keep things safe and go at their pace. My goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed and loved until you’re back, tailoring to their individual needs! For stays in my own home, I should note that I have a housemate so it wouldn’t just be me around the dog.

A typical day

It all depends on the individual dog! Some require big walks so happy to take it out to the countryside and have some longer exercise or to a safe local space where it can freely run around and just burn some energy. Some need extra mental stimulation in which case we’ll play some games or attempt some training, or some simply just need a short plod around a local park with good scratches!!

Pet care experience

Been around dogs most of my life:) Cared for a range including Golden retrievers, Cavapoos, Huskies, Malamutes, Border Collies, Daschunds, Pugs & Frenchies. Now that I live in England, I really miss having doggy company and would love the chance to care for and spoil some pups again!

Lucy stayed at my home and looked after my two dogs while I went away. She was amazing and kept me updated on how things were going and answered messages quickly. I would definitely recommend Lucy to anyone. She is amazing. Thank you so much.

Lucy is so accommodating and very flexible if you need to change times. My dogs love her dropping in to see them.
