Limited Stay, Unlimited Love <3

Hi, I’m Lucy. Thank you for visiting my profile. I was recommended Rover by a friend a little over a year ago and have been here ever since. I’ve had dogs all my life and genuinely love them. Over the years, I’ve built strong connections with many different personalities and truly believe dogs are incredible animals. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, which you’ll see in my photos. I’m confident looking after dogs with different needs and can accommodate those who are a little anxious or reactive. My family Jack Russell is reactive around other dogs and strangers, which has taught me how to recognise triggers, manage walks and environments, and create calm, positive experiences. I welcome dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. From confident explorers to sensitive souls, caring for them genuinely brings me so much joy. If you’re looking for a sitter who will treat your dog with kindness, understanding, and affection, I’d love for you to get in touch.

Lucy look after my cocker spaniel, Zara. She kept me posted on how she was getting on, spent time with her in the garden and she came back a contented pup. Thank you Lucy.

Lucy has been brilliant with Flynny. Taking care to get to know him before hand with a video call and putting him at ease when he arrived - he was lounging on her bed in about 5 minutes. We have booked another visit and look forward to see her again soon!

Lucy was fab with Gus! He’s come home super happy and relaxed. Lucy replied really quickly and completely put me at ease. It was really reassuring getting pictures and updates and I will definitely be contacting Lucy again in the future if I need a dog sitter. Thanks again!

Schedule

I have the privilege of working from home full time and spend most of my time at home, so dogs are never left alone while staying with me. I believe it’s especially important for pets to have company when they’re away from their usual environment, which can make this a great setup for dogs who struggle with separation anxiety. I’m flexible during the week and at weekends, and I’m happy to work around your schedule where possible.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a spacious first-floor flat with access to a private, fully fenced garden, so your dog will always have a safe outdoor space. I’m also just a stone’s throw from Cotham Gardens, which is perfect for longer walks and extra time outside. I’m always happy to meet before a booking so you can see my home and make sure it feels like the right fit for you and your dog. There’s absolutely no pressure to book if it doesn’t feel right. I know it can be nerve-racking leaving your pet with someone new, so I’ll always send plenty of pupdates to reassure you that your fur baby is in great hands.

A typical day

A typical day with me usually includes plenty of time outdoors, as I love long walks and aim to get my 10k steps in each day. One of my favourite places to walk is the Clifton Downs, which offers lots of space to explore and enjoy fresh air. During the summer months, I often bring a blanket and spend some time sitting in the sun, something many of my previous visitors have really enjoyed. I’m knowledgeable about enrichment and stimulation activities for dogs, so they’ll receive plenty of mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. Evenings are usually cosy and relaxed — I love a quiet night in, and pets are very welcome on the sofa or in bed for cuddles if that’s what they’re used to.

Lucy can host up to 1 pet per night
Every pet is unique, so I really value learning what makes yours feel comfortable and happy. Please let me know about any special requests, how they are around other dogs, whether they’re allowed off the lead, and what their usual toilet breaks and feeding routine look like. The more I know, the more comfortable and settled your pet will be while they’re with me.
