I'm free most of the time so I'm able to do pretty much any job in my area at anytime and for extended periods, as long as I have proper notice. I have my own cat who I help take care of, but he's also cared for by 3 other people I live with and I work other odd jobs that may come up but generally I am available and I keep my calendar up to date.

Safety, trust & environment

I can currently only take jobs outside my home, but I understand what it means to respect the privacy and safety of the clients home/household, and how to respect an animals boundaries in terms of meeting new people or experiencing a change in environment. I have had multiple rescue animals, some who were very resistant to certain types of interactions due to trauma with previous owners. I know many animals may experience similar anxieties and I will respect the boundaries of the individual pet, and closely follow the personal care instructions provided by the owner. I am less experienced with animals that have special needs or require medication, but I am happy to learn and accommodate for any pet I can!

Information Lucy R. would like to know about your pet

Any special needs and medication/dietary specifics, any notes on typical behaviour (they are very energetic or pull on leashes, very shy/wont come out while I'm there, etc.), any commands you want them to continue working on or boundaries you want me to maintain (no sitting on furniture, no barking at other animals, etc.) In case your animal is sensitive to the smells of other animals, I do have a cat and pretty much always have cat hair on me.

A typical day

Cuddles and pets are #1! I also love practicing tricks (I've even taught my cat a couple... hehehe) and playing games like fetch or puzzles are so fun :)
