Hello! My name is Lucy and I’m a uni student at ubc. I have a genuine passion for providing excellent animal care. I fell in love with dogs at a vet clinic in Guelph as a veterinary assistance, and started spending my time at different clinics to learn more about dogs and cats. I love to take the pups out for walks and playing fetch and anything else to have a good time. I am also well versed in cat care with over 10 years of experience spanning from 2014 to current. I love to keep up with dental care and grooming to ensure your pet is in tip top shape, and I strive to provide your dog and cat with the most comfortable home away from home. I am also highly experienced in feline care, having volunteered at VOKRA for many years in Vancouver, and New Hope animal rescue in Guelph, Ontario for more. I currently own one cat who you can see on my profile. :) I learn something new everyday from wonderful owners who I am incredibly lucky to work with. I look forward to many more fun filled, lovely days with your companions from here on out.

Lucy was amazing with our two girls, Marla and Bean. Her kindness and gentle nature made them comfortable around her. She made sure to update us with pictures and videos, as well as quick messages. Our kitties were safe and happy while under her care :) Thank you so much again Lucy!
Lucy was so wonderful with our two kitties Nuggets and Truffles. We booked her for the drop in visits and she went above and beyond sending us updates and pictures. One of our cats required med administration and she had no issues doing that. She is super responsive and it is super reassuring when you are away from your pets. Highly recommend Lucy!
Cooper had a great time with Lucy, as always! Highly recommend, your furry friend will be in great hands.
My dog Cooper liked Lucy right away so I felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. She sent several cute pics and was communicative and friendly. Will absolutely be rebooking the next time I need a pet-sitter and happy to recommend her to anyone else!
Lucy sent many videos and pictures of Ben. She made me aware of a medical condition she had observed. She offered to brush Ben’s teeth. Our rescued dog has some separation anxiety. Lucy and her mom managed this well by including Ben in their outings and providing him human company at all times. I’m very pleased with Lucy, and I plan to use her services again.

A typical day
In a typical day, I will take the dogs out to nearby trails, parks, and forests. Even rainy or snowy days won’t stop us from trekking far and wide :) Most importantly, all the exercise they get during the day will ultimately ensure a good night of sleep!
