Availability
I currently work from home full-time, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins or sitting from 7:30am (after I’ve taken my daughter to nursery) through to 6pm on weekdays. I’m also available on weekends on an ad hoc basis. Pet care fits in really well with my routine, and I love getting out for walks during the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, secure back garden with plenty of safe space to run around. There are no other pets in the house, although my mum’s friendly cockapoo can visit if your dog enjoys company. I have two young children who are around after school/nursery hours and are very used to being around dogs! I would never leave the children alone with them and dogs can have a quiet space to relax away from them if they need it 😊

Information Lucy P. would like to know about your pet
It’s important that dogs staying with us are fully toilet trained and comfortable around children, as there are children in the house in the evenings and at weekends. Please let me know about your dog’s usual routine, feeding schedule, sleep arrangements, recall, and how they are with other dogs on walks. It’s also helpful to know about any medical needs, allergies, behavioural quirks (e.g. separation anxiety, resource guarding), or anything that might cause stress so I can make their stay as smooth as possible.
A typical day
I stick closely to your dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled and at home. I’m happy for crate-trained dogs or for them to bring their own bed. I send regular photo updates for peace of mind !!! We’re also lucky to have lots of lovely walking routes nearby, including along the river, for plenty of fresh air and exercise. 🐾

Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs all my life but unfortunately I don’t have one of my own at the moment, which is why I love helping family and friends by looking after theirs. I genuinely enjoy having dogs around and treat every one like they’re part of the family 🐶
Reviews

We left our 2.5 year old Caverpoochon with Lucy and family while we went on holiday. Lucy provided us with daily updates and pictures of how Finley was doing. He clearly had the best time with lots of fun and cuddles. Would use Lucy again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him xx 😀

Bramble has had a wonderful time having 2 walks a day with Lucy over the last week or so. Lucy has been great at communicating while we were setting it up, throughout the week & after the walks each day. She was always very punctual, keen to get to know Brambles needs & make sure he had a good walk each time. I felt very reassured my dog was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Lucy to friends.
I can’t recommend Lucy highly enough as a dog walker. They are reliable, kind, and completely trustworthy. They have such a natural way with dogs — calm, confident, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs and personality. I’ve seen firsthand how patient and caring they are, always making sure dogs feel safe, happy, and well-exercised. Any pet owner would be lucky to have them looking after their dog.
