I work from home and am currently a PhD student so am home nearly all day every day. Recently bought my house with my partner who works shifts. So some days he’ll be home to help out.

A typical day
I really enjoy walking and the outdoors so will happily walk the dog for as long as it needs. Older dogs I am happy to provide multiple short walks and for high energy dogs, long walks. I like to vary the location of the walks to keep the dogs interested. I also enjoy playing with them and their toys and have a large garden to entertain them

Pet care experience
Grown up with cats, hamsters, Guinea pigs and fish and a general lover of all animals. Experience of dog sitting for family members in recent years. Profile picture shows the lurcher I looked after last summer. Really confident with dogs, walking them and picking up after them. I am currently a PhD student so have time to dedicate to entertaining and attending to your pets’ needs

It was my first time using Rover and I’m happy I came across Lucy! She was very easy to communicate with, bowls were cleaned and cats were fed. Highly recommend Lucy!
We had a great experience with Lucy and Jamie. They took great care of our pet Chase whilst we were away on our family holiday. Sending us regular updates/ photos of Chase which really put us at ease. They were flexible and accommodating when we were delayed coming home from the airport. Most importantly Chase had a great time, and came home happy and relaxed, making the whole experience completely stress free. We would highly recommend Lucy and Jamie to anyone looking for the perfect dog sitters.
I have lost count now of how many times Lucy has looked after my cat . I can go away without a worry , she’s reliable, trustworthy and a lovely friendly person, highly recommended.
Reggie loves staying with Lucy and runs straight in when we arrive! I am very happy to leave him there knowing he is happy and well looked after. He'll be back!
