I work a flexible rota which allows me to be at home for multiple days in a row. This means I would be home the majority of the time to walk and play with your pups.

I have a 4year old Saluki who loves playing with other dogs and would be happy to have other friendly dogs in our home. We have a spacious house with lots of dog beds and a decent sized garden which is secure with high fences.

A typical day
I will make sure they are stimulated both physically and mentally. I have many games and toys for them to play with as well as lots of excellent walks around. I also have plenty of beds to allow for rest and down time.

Pet care experience
I am a 7 year qualified veterinarian, I work predominantly in out of hours care now which gives me a flexible schedule and means I have blocks of time off or working from home. This allows me to look after pets in my spare time. It's safe to say I love animals and have many years experience caring for both with my own and other people's animals. Though my work as a vet I have a very good understanding of canine & feline behaviour and am able to offer support for pets with additional needs.

Lucy is a wonderful, caring person who is an excellent, friend, carer and advocate for animals. She is not only an experienced pet owner but also a vet so she knows what she is doing. Lucy has looked after my cat many times and I always know my floof ball's needs are going to be taken care of (including snuggles and playtime). Lucy is also always respectful of my home and is she very reliable. I could not recommend her more.
Lucy looked after my dog for 3-4 months whilst my husband & I were travelling. There aren’t many people we trust to take care of our dog, especially for that period of time, however we 100% trust Lucy. She is a highly skilled vet with brilliant animal handling skills, who really cares deeply for animals. Just before we went on away our dog sustained an injury, and Lucy was able to carry on his care with knowledge and expertise. We also got regular updates whilst we were away, which we really appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lucy to mind your pet.
