Hi! I'm Lucy. 👋 . I'm French and speak fluent English and decent Swedish. My husband Lee is American, and together we offer pet care from our family home. I manage our Rover profile and most of the communication with owners, but Lee is also actively involved in caring for our guests, including walks, playtime and their day-to-day routine. So when your pet stays with us, they really become part of our household. ☺️ . Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up around dogs and have cared for animals for many years, both my own and those of friends and family. Spending time with them genuinely brings me joy, and we treat every pet staying with us as if they were our own. . I have experience with both dogs and cats, including daily care, long walks, playtime, feeding routines, and providing a calm and reassuring presence while their owners are away. I have also helped transport rescue dogs from the airport to their new homes and have participated in dog shows, assisting friends and other owners with their dogs in those environments. These experiences have given me a good understanding of different dog temperaments and how to help them feel safe and comfortable. . I'm also comfortable with basic grooming tasks such as bathing and trimming nails, provided your pet is comfortable with it. The only thing I can't promise is a professional haircut — unless your dog enjoys a very creative (and slightly chaotic!) hairstyle 💇🤪 . A little about our home: we have a friendly 3-year-old son who absolutely loves dogs and has grown up around them. Because of this, we can only accept dogs that are comfortable and trustworthy around young children. If your dog has never been around children before, or you're unsure how they might react, we're always happy to arrange a meet and greet first to make sure it's a good fit for everyone. . We are patient, attentive, and respectful of each animal's personality and routine. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm and quiet companion, we adapt to their needs. . Our goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for and happy while you're away. . We look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! 🐾

Lucy and her husband were very sweet taking care of my dog. As my dog is anxious in new environments and with new people and they really did everything they could to make her feel comfortable. ☺️
Thor was very happy staying with Lucy! We really appreciated that she offered a meet & greet before his stay, which gave us the chance to get to know each other and see the home where Thor would be staying. Lucy was very attentive to Thor’s needs and kept us updated throughout his stay. Since Thor isn’t used to staying at other people’s homes, he behaved a little differently than usual, but Lucy was very patient and thoughtful. She asked us questions whenever she noticed something different and always tried to find the best way to help him feel comfortable, including encouraging him to go out for his walks. She was always very kind, communicative, and attentive to Thor’s behavior and wellbeing. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing that she was paying such close attention to him. We’re very happy with how she took care of Thor and would definitely recommend her!
Lucy is a great dog sitter. She and her family took great care of our dog while we were on vacation. We warmly recommend her!

Lucy looked after our dog in her house for a week while we were on vacation and she did a wonderful job. She was very thorough and helpful. She communicated and sent photos every day. We really appreciate her help and would definitely recommend her 💫

Schedule
I work from home, which allows me to be present with the dogs I care for throughout the day. This makes it easy to include regular walks, playtime, and quiet companionship as part of the daily routine. Because I am home most of the time, pets staying with me are rarely left alone for long periods. Walks and outdoor time can be adapted depending on the dog’s energy level and needs.

I live in a comfortable apartment in Stockholm, close to several green areas and nature paths that are perfect for regular walks, including a dog park. When pets stay with me, I aim to keep their routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. I always take time to understand their habits, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and personality. I provide a calm, safe environment where pets can relax, play, and feel secure while their owners are away. I am attentive to each animal’s comfort level and body language, and I always prioritize their safety and well-being.
A typical day
A typical day includes several walks, outdoor time, and plenty of attention. Depending on the dog, this might include relaxed walks in nearby green areas, playtime, or simply spending time together in a calm environment. I adapt the day to each pet’s personality and energy level. Some dogs enjoy longer walks and exploration, while others prefer shorter outings and quiet companionship. My goal is always to make sure they feel comfortable, engaged, and well cared for while their owners are away.
