Carly and I are a dog-loving couple based right by Tooting Common. We both grew up with dogs, and looking after them is genuinely the best part of our day. Because we both work from home, your dog is never left alone for long stretches - they get company, cuddles, walks, and toilet breaks throughout the day, plus our private garden to relax and play in. We only ever take one family at a time, so your dog gets our full, undivided attention rather than sharing us with a houseful of other pets. With Tooting Common on our doorstep, daily walks are already part of our routine, and we tailor everything - pace, walks, feeding, training cues - to suit your dog, whether they're a bouncy puppy or a gentle older soul. Between us, we both have 10 years of experience, including senior dogs, special-needs dogs, and giving medication. We know leaving your dog is a big step, so we keep you reassured with daily photos and updates, and always love a relaxed meet & greet beforehand. We look after cats too - just ask!

I would thoroughly recommend Lucy to anyone looking for someone to look after their dog. From the moment we started speaking she was friendly and approachable and was always so helpful with anything we needed to ask. Throughout his stay we received frequent updates with photos which were really lovely. And when he came home our dog Augie was a very happy and calm boy! We would definitely love to have Lucy look after him again.

Carly and Lucy are just amazing, I genuinely couldn’t have asked for better people to look after Kevin while I was away. They kindly offered to do a meet-and-greet beforehand, which really put me at ease and made drop-off day so much easier as Kevin already knew them and felt comfortable in their home. From the moment I met them, I could tell how caring, calm and experienced they were with dogs, and seeing how naturally comfortable Kevin was around them made me feel completely at ease leaving him in their care. It was so reassuring knowing he was not only being looked after, but genuinely cared for and treated like one of their own. I got daily updates and photos throughout his stay, and it was lovely to see how relaxed, happy and settled he was. I also ended up missing my flight home and had to collect him much later than planned, and they were incredibly accommodating, understanding and kind about it. I honestly couldn’t recommend Carly and Lucy more, we’ve found an absolute gem for dog sitting, and Kevin can’t wait for his next stay!
We left our puppy for the first time with Lucy and Carly for doggy day care and he had a great time! They were really caring and kept us posted with photos and updates. Their home is ideal for him with its own garden and they took him for a walk on the local common. Pretty sure he will be very happy to go back again soon and to stay with them while we go on holiday, which is a big relief for us. Thank you both 😊

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into our weekly routine because we both work from home. This means we are around throughout the day for walks, toilet breaks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of company. We can be flexible around a dog’s usual schedule and are happy to adapt to their normal routine as much as possible, whether that means early morning walks, lunchtime toilet breaks, or a slower pace for older dogs. - Because we live right by Tooting Common, daily walks are a big part of our routine already, and we love having a dog along with us. Your dog would have lots of attention throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches.

Before any stay, we like to understand your dog’s habits, walking style, feeding schedule, likes and dislikes, and any medical or behavioural needs, so we can care for them in a way that feels familiar and reassuring. - At home, we aim to create a calm, relaxed environment where dogs can settle in. Because we both work from home, the dogs are supervised throughout the day and get lots of attention and cuddles. - We are attentive on walks and always follow your preferences, whether your dog is better on a short lead, needs a quieter route, or prefers a certain routine. We are also happy to reinforce any training cues you already use, so your dog has consistency while in our care. - We know leaving your dog with someone else can feel like a big step, so we always prioritise clear communication and regular photo updates to give you peace of mind.
A typical day
A typical day with us depends on your dog's age, energy level, and routine, but usually includes plenty of cuddles, play, rest, and outdoor time.
