Information Lucy H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any special needs that I can account for before I am caring for them. Please let me know if your dog or cat is on tick and flea medicine. Please let me know if your pet spends time outside (eg an outside cat).
A typical day
I check on the fur baby, talk to them, make sure they have fresh water, follow the feeding and/or medicine instructions. I make sure their waste area is clean and their bedding comfy and clean. Lots of toys and brain teasers/mentally stimulating activity are important. Play is important. And physical exercise! For pups, I can do training walks or I can do leisurely sniff walks where I let the pup “check the mail” and sniff all the good sniffs.

Pet care experience
As a dog mom of two Swiss Shepherds, I love animals of all sizes. I grew up with cats, fish, and now my own pups. With over a decade and a half of animal experience, I have cared for pets of all sizes, health, conditions; from dogs to cats, fish and birds, to horses, goats, chickens, ducks, and more. I love animals and will take the best care of your fur baby. Safety and health are of utmost importance to me, as well as making sure your baby is mentally and physically exercised and has fun doing it. My older dog is my service dog and the pup is in service dog training and therefore I am well versed in positive reinforcement training behaviors upkeep. I have done everything from boarding to house sitting, walking, and meds and special needs, pups, kittens and even seniors. I look forward to caring for your fur baby!
Reviews

Lucy took take great care of my girls! Definitely recommend her!
Excellent care taker, very knowledgeable about what care dogs need and adequates to their personnel requirements

Lucy was amazing with my 2 large-breed dogs and medium rescue/foster puppy. Quick responses, consistent communication, numerous photo updates, flexible, and caring. The rescue/foster puppy is extremely high-energy and in the beginning training stages, yet Lucy was understanding and willing to help maintain consistency in her training. Very grateful to have found her and will use her again in the future!
Lucy watched our 3 year old lab husky mix for a month while my family and i went on vacation. She sent us videos and pictures every single day of him playing, cuddling and loving. That trip was probably the most stress free ive ever been on vacation away from my dog. To have someone so caring and thoughtful of our dogs needs was amazing. Super communative and easy going.
