Hi! I’m Lucy. I’m a speech-language therapist and lifelong dog lover. I’ve cared for neighborhood pups of all ages and sizes since I was 10, and I love making walks, playtime, and drop-in visits fun, safe, and full of attention. Whether your dog needs exercise, companionship, or just some extra love, I’m happy to help! I have my own fur baby, Finny — a Good Canine Citizen graduate and therapy dog in training. Whether your pup loves to play with big dogs, is shy and learning to come out of their shell, or prefers one-on-one attention, I can provide walks, playtime, and care with or without Finny. I’m experienced in basic training, socialization, and following routines like feeding or medication schedules. I’m attentive, reliable, and love making every dog feel safe, happy, and part of the family.

I prioritize a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for every dog in my care. During walks, playtime, or drop-in visits at your home or nearby, I supervise interactions, ensure dogs get along, and provide secure spaces when needed. I follow your dog’s routines closely, including feeding, medication, and any special care instructions. With my therapy-dog-in-training Finny, I create a friendly, reassuring atmosphere that helps dogs feel confident, relaxed, and happy. I treat every pup like part of the family, giving attention, love, and consistent guidance to make sure they’re safe and comfortable at all times.

We’ve had a wonderful experience working with Lucy. She is consistently punctual and professional, which gives us great peace of mind. One of the things we appreciate most is the care and thoughtfulness she shows during each visit. She often brings her dog, Finn, along to play with our dog, Hazel, and the two of them have become great friends. It’s clear that Hazel looks forward to their time together—she gets so excited every time Lucy arrives. Lucy goes above and beyond in making sure Hazel is happy, exercised, and well cared for. Her reliability, kindness, and genuine love for animals make her an exceptional dog walker. We’re truly grateful to have found her and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pet.
Lucy was fantastic. Our dog had a blast this weekend. He loved playing with Lucy’s dog. Lucy sent plenty of photos and let us know how our dog was doing. We will definitely be having her dogsit again.
Lucy has been very reliable for us and our dog loves spending time with her and her dog. She is very responsible and we would always recommend her!
I can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Lucy. She went above and beyond watching our dog in our home. She came by before our first booking to meet and chat. We left a few small instructions which were followed to a T but she did so much more than the bare minimum. She gave our Millie love and attention, which is all we really want. But she also did some training and sent us pictures and videos of a happy dog. I would 100% recommend Lucy to anyone looking.

Schedule
I provide flexible care to fit your dog’s routine. Morning walks, playtime, and attention can be one-on-one or with my dog Finny, depending on what’s best for your pup. I’m also available evenings and weekends, and I follow feeding schedules and any special needs to keep your dog happy, safe, and comfortable.
