When caring for pets in my clients homes, I do my best to maintain their normal routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free. I carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and any other specific care requests. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, enrichment, playtime, and affection while their owners are away. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can have peace of mind. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own and ensure they feel loved and well cared for in their familiar environment!

I love keeping pets active, happy, and engaged. Whether it’s walks, fetch, enrichment games, playtime, or cuddles, I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. My goal is to make sure they have fun, feel comfortable, and get lots of love while you’re away.

Hi pet parents! My name is Lucy and I have over 8 years of pet-sitting experience and a deep love and passion for animals of all kinds. In the next year I will be pursuing veterinary medicine, and I am excited to continue building my experience caring for animals!🩺🐶 -I am comfortable caring for a wide variety of species and pets with different needs, including administering medications and following detailed care instructions. I understand that every pet is unique, and I strive to provide patient, compassionate, and individualized care. 🐱✅ -In addition to pet sitting, I have volunteered with a wildlife rehabilitation organization where I helped care for orphaned and injured wild animals, including providing around-the-clock care to baby wildlife.🐿️ I also volunteer at an animal shelter, where I assist with daily animal care and other shelter tasks. -With that I have a great amount of experience working with anxious and/or reactive pups and have been trained to understand body language cues🐾 -I pride myself on being reliable, responsible, and attentive. Whether your pet needs a walk, medication, extra patience, or just lots of love and attention, I will care for them as if they were my own. We hired Lucy to take care of 2 of our dogs and our 3 cats in our home for 4 nights over winter break. She was highly recommended by several other families who had used her services. She came ahead of time to meet the fur babies and go over all of the instructions in care. I immediately knew she would be amazing. She was so friendly and the animals loved her right away. She is clearly excellent with animals. They felt her positive vibe and our excited dogs became calm in her presence. She was very attentive to the directions and seemed totally at ease with them. The day we left, she came before we departed so there was a nice transition. I felt super comfortable that the house and our fur babies were in good hands. Each day she took our dogs for 2 walks, fed all the animals twice, scooped the litter boxes, changed the water, let the dogs in and out of the backyard, gave them love, brought in our packages, and took incredible care of our home. She sent pics and updates daily so we knew how everyone was doing, and we felt happy to just enjoy our vacation knowing everything was great at home. When we arrived back after our vacation, the house was immaculate. I couldn’t even tell she had been there, she kept it so clean and tidy! The animals were happy and calm and well taken care of. We are planning on hiring her again soon and we absolutely highly recommend her to take care of your pet sitting and pet care needs!

lucy has been an incredible caregiver ever since i got my 2 cats about 7 months ago. she is great at communicating + sticking to my cats usual routine. this includes lots of play time, wet food feeding, refilling their water, providing dental supplements, prepping their automatic wet food feeder for additional meals, litter scooping, putting treats in their enrichment toys + best of all, sending me pictures of the kiddos! it's been good piece of mind knowing that when i plan a trip, i'll have someone i trust to enter my home, respect it + take care of my cats like they're her own. i can tell they've been well taken care of when i return from trips + i am grateful for everything she does :)
