I will provide regular photos and updates. Lots of cuddles (if they like it) and attention & walks as per their usual routine. I would like to have the option to leave for a few hours during the day for errands, so ideally suited to pet who are comfortable with being left for short periods of time (but I do have experience with very anxious animals, who could not be left at all, so it is an option but would incur a higher day rate)

I’m Lucy, I am an experienced house sitter, based in Worthing. I’m 46 and started house sitting in early 2025 via a different service. After many years working in client-facing roles, I took a career break and decided to move into house sitting full-time, as it better reflects my values. I’ve always loved animals, and I find real enjoyment in spending time with them and making sure they feel safe and well cared for. I love animals and lost my beloved Jack Russell, Lola, in 2024. She had become quite ill and I cared for her around the clock. I provide calm and reliable care for dogs, cats, and small pets in their own home, showering them with lots of TLC and cuddles (only if they want it though!), keeping to any routines, to give you and your pets a stress-free experience, whilst you are away. Whilst I am new to Rover, I have previously done housesits via TrustedHousesitters, caring for dogs, cats, and other small animals. Lucy is amazing, my puppy Charlie adores her. I never worry about leaving him with her because she’s brilliant with him. Feeding, treats, walks, play and calm - she gives him exactly what he needs. She’s reliable, communicative and I trust both my pup and my home to her for pup sits.
