Large Fenced in yard
My husband and I have always had dogs. Our children are all grown now so our two dogs are like our children. We have a large house with a finished basement and a "doggie door" so our dogs can go in and out of the house at their own will into a fenced in back yard that is very private. We have a 13 year old chocolate lab and a 9 year old beagle mix. They are friendly and playful. One of our favorite weekend activities is hiking with our dogs. They also love swimming and fetching or sunbathing on our deck. They are just the best! We are a caring couple and have the time to spend sharing our love with your special pet.

Thank you Lucy and Steve! It is such a relief to find good, dog-loving people who are willing to put up with our dogs' craziness! Lucy and Steve treated our dogs like their own! Lucy even went out of her way to buy small treats to work on befriending our smaller, shy pup. Our dogs had a BLAST in their fenced in yard and deck. I think Henry was sad to leave! I highly recommend Lucy and Steve to anyone who might be feeling a little nervous to leave their dog with someone new. Lucy and Steve our genuine "dog people" who really take the time to give love and attention to the dogs they watch. Lucy also sends pictures (which I greatly appreciated!) Thank you again Lucy and Steve!
Very friendly home. THey are a very nice couple who will not take in too many dogs at one time. Beautiful home and large fenced in yard. They really care about your dog.
Lucy took great care of Mia while we were on our one week vacation. This was our first time away from our 1 year old pup and we were very nervous about leaving her in someone else's care. We chose Rover.com because we felt that our dog would be more comfortable in a home than a kennel. When I went to retrieve Mia from the sitter she didn't seem too happy to leave. She obviously had a great time. Lucy did have other dogs there during part of Mia's stay which worried me a little as I did not know how our dog would interact with others. But it turns out that she did great and we are now looking for another dog so she has a playmate.
We highly recommend Lucy! Lucy and Steve took great care of our two pups. We were able to enjoy our vacation so much more knowing that our pups were in a comfortable, safe home environment.
Lucy and Steve were absolutely wonderful. They were extremely flexible and easy to deal with. I could sense their love of dogs when I brought our puppy for the meet and greet. I would recommend them to you!! I think you will be as pleased as I am if you use them for your next trip!
Lucy was wonderful! She took great care of all four of our dogs while we on our mini vacation! Can’t thank her enough! Definitely would use her again!
