Home away from Home
My partner has always been raised with dogs as pets for 20 years, these have ranged from boarder coillies, cocker spaniels, terroirs to Rottweilers. I have alway grown up around family dogs and have loved taking care of them, Our home will be your fur babies home away from home when they stay with us. Bella was the fifth member to our family, sadly we said goodbye to her in May 25. But we would treat your fur babies exactly the same as we treated Bella. Both of our children have been raised around dogs, and love getting involved with caring for them.

Stella has just spent a week staying with Lucy, Luke and their lovely family, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment she arrived, I knew she was going to be happy and well cared for. I received daily updates, photos and videos, which gave me complete peace of mind. I could see how much fun she was having, especially playing with their pup, and it meant I never had to worry about whether she was okay. I would highly recommend Lucy and her family to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like one of their own. I’m so grateful I found them for Stella and I will definitely be using them again. I truly don’t think I could have found anyone better, Stella absolutely adores them. Thank you so much, Lucy and Luke, for looking after Stella so wonderfully. She means the world to me, and knowing she was loved, happy and cared for while she was with you means everything.

Once again thank you and your lovely family for looking after Bo for us. He likes it there so much he didn't want to leave again. This is the second time Bo has stayed with you and he always comes home happy and chilled out. I suspect he loves being spoilt by your two daughters. Good luck with the new puppy. I honestly can’t thank Lucy and her family enough. This was a very last minute booking due to my partner needing surgery with only three days’ notice. I contacted Lucy on the Friday, we arranged a meet and greet on the Saturday, and Bella stayed Sunday and Monday night. The whole process was smooth and reassuring from start to finish. Lucy has a beautiful home with a lovely big garden, and her husband Luke and their two children are all so sweet and kind. Bella was walked twice a day by Luke and was clearly very well cared for throughout her stay. Lucy followed all my requests, including allowing Bella to sleep upstairs in her crate just as she does at home. I also received photo updates and messages, which really put me at ease during such a stressful time. Bella definitely made herself at home snuggling up on the sofa with Lucy in the evenings ❤️ When I collected Bella, she was happy, content and completely comfortable with Lucy — which says everything. I will definitely use Lucy again and I’m so grateful for everything she and her family did for us. Thank you so much 🥰
Bo just spent 2 weeks with Lucy and her lovely family, who sent us pictures to see how he was doing. Bo has separation anxiety and Lucy and her family obviously spoilt him as when I picked him up he was fast asleep on the settee. I would highly recommend Lucy to family and friends. Bo is booked in again in a few weeks time and I know that he will be very well looked after. Once again thank you Lucy and your family for looking after our little man, We will have to get more treats for the girls to give him lol x

Schedule
I predominantly work from home and my partner works a rolling shift pattern so your fur babies will always have company when they stay with us. Bella is set in her ways however we would be more than willing to follow the same feeding scheduling that you implement for your dog.

Safety, trust & environment
We would welcome your dog’s blankets, toys and beds to make them feel comfortable during their stay. We also have space for your fur babies to sleep in their create if needed. We have a large enclosed garden that your fur babies will have constant access to during their stay.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day includes a nice lengthy walk, playing fetch before spending time at home. During the nicer weather we spend as much time as possible outside in our enclosed garden.
