Hi my name is Lucy and I love all animals but dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I have had family dogs through growing up and I understand where would we be without them. I have had a variety of breeds of dog throughout my life including Husky German Shepherd, Maltese Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier and also a cockapoo. I have recently undergone a paid course with new skills academy focusing on pet sitting/ walking which i have now completed. I absolutely love dogs and i feel i could be a great help to anyone who needs assistance with day visits and plenty of walks. Look forward to meeting you!

We have 3 dogs and 4 cats and one of the dogs is elderly with complex needs, so if we want to go away it’s a huge operation that has to be planned well in advance. Discovering house sitting and more importantly now Lucy, has been the answer to our prayers. All our fur babies can stay happily in their own environment so there’s less stress and upheaval and the cats can still come and go as they please instead of being cooped up. As we only needed a sitter for two nights we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try this service. Enter our absolute Godsend Lucy. Luckily Lucy lives locally so as our brood may seem a little daunting for a sitter we invited Lucy for an introduction to everyone. She is a lovely warm person who clearly has a great love for animals and our boys took to her immediately. Her approach to the was much like our with lots of cuddles and silly voices that the dogs like. The way our boys received her was good enough for us and even the cats who can be stand offish warmed to Lucy very quickly. Lucy was very thorough in getting information for the care of each individual pet, particularly with the older dog and his needs. I made meticulous notes but Lucy added her own the make sure she met the needs of our old boy so you can see she really cares deeply and treats your pets as she would treat her own. Lucy’s stay was a great success and we were reassured by updates and photos from her while we were away and we were amazed to see our youngest cat who is not yet very confident, snuggled with Lucy on the bed! Lucy is worth her weight in gold and we’re so grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her. In Lucy we have found not only someone we can trust implicitly with our precious pets, but a family friend and we look for to seeing her again soon. Thank you Lucy ❤️

Schedule
Currently i am fully flexible which greatfully allows me to do what I love, taking care of our loved pets. I only take on responsibility when i know i have that time to give 100%focus to you and your pets and give you that dedicated time, love and care. We have a family dog called Kalsi who lives with my parents which leaves me now moving to my new house without a dog so I am very to say I can now do boarding in my home for cats and dogs with plenty of space in a ground floor bungalow with garden and can offer plenty of walks.

I am very happy to house sit provide drop in visits and provide daily walks above all dedicate all my time to your pets as I understand taking a dog out their environment can be stressful. I understand that routine can be very important so I would be as flexible as you require. Your dogs safety always comes first. Depending on your dogs needs and how they like to spend there days/nights i will go every extra mile to keep them happy with a a cuddle or lots of play time with their toys. I will also be incorporating boarding in my home soon which will be a very happy household giving your loved animals a safe and secure environment.
A typical day
Having plenty of fun! taking them to a field to play fetch or to simply have a good run. If the dog isn't so energetic just being outside exploring new smells and having a steady stroll. Like my dog she isn't so energetic anymore so she simply just loves caring and loving company with somebody to sit with and have a cuddle. Every dog is different and I am more than happy to adapt to your dogs needs.
