Experienced Shelter Dog Walker
Hi! I’m new to the USA, which is why I don’t have many reviews just yet - however I bring a whole lot of experience with me from the UK! I even packed up my dog Daisy and my horse Gyp and brought them along for the adventure too! Dogs have always been more than a job to me - they’re a privilege. For over two years, I volunteered at an animal rescue centre as an active dog walker, supporting rescued dogs through exercise, enrichment, socialisation, calm and gentle rehabilitation to improve their chances of adoption. I worked closely with staff and fellow volunteers to ensure consistent, safe, and loving care, building strong bonds with dogs who needed patience, understanding, and most of all, kindness. Alongside this, I continue to volunteer at Orange County Animal Services as part of their Book Buddies program, helping shelter dogs relieve stress and anxiety through calm interaction and reading sessions. Previously, I used my former business as a platform to raise awareness and funds for animal welfare, helping to Sponsor a Kennel, support Open Days, and run community fundraisers. I’ve also volunteered with the British Hen Welfare Trust, helping re-home ex-commercial hens into loving homes and DreamCatcher Horse Rescue right here in Clermont.

I provide personalized care depending on the service requested. This includes feeding, exercise, and enrichment tailored to each pet’s needs. I prioritise safety, comfort, and emotional wellbeing, ensuring pets feel secure and loved. I follow the pet parents routines and preferences to maintain consistency and create a structured environment with walks, playtime, and socialisation opportunities. I also keep parents regularly updated with pup-dates so they can feel confident their pets are well cared for.

I've never used a dog walker before. Research and studying the best Walkers, and I found a GEM. Lucy is amazing. Besides being incredibly nice, she literally loves all animals, and with that, she treats your little love ones as if it was her dog. She shows and demonstrates love for your dog, and that is hard to find. I look forward to future walks with Lucy and have my little Mabel being happy, and treated amazingly. Lucy also sends updates of walks, distance, food eaten and brings little treats for dogs to play and find the treats. Lucy also provided adorable videos to me which is so appreciated. I found a gem, and feeling blessed that I know someone who will care, love, play, respect your precious dog. So yes!! Lucy is the my primary walker now and should be yours too. Thank you Lucy 😊

Lucy has visited our little senior dog multiple times. She asked if she could bring chicken to play some games with our girl. Lucy had introduced some things to keep our girl thinking and doing activities. I will be using Lucy’s ideas now. I can’t recommend Lucy enough. She is fantastic and will take great care of your pet.
I will continue to use Lucy as long as we are in town. I will also plan to use her any time we are in town with our little fur baby. Lucy is fantastic!

Schedule
Pet care is a joyful part of my everyday routine, with plenty of time dedicated to exercise, mental stimulation and one-to-one attention. I love encouraging dogs to use their natural instincts through play, forage, and fun enrichment games that keep their minds as happy as their bodies. My experience as both a volunteer and dog walker means every pup in my care receives consistent love, safety, and positive engagement - while you enjoy regular, reassuring pup-dates along the way 🐾
