My daily schedule is set by me, so I am completely flexible to find a time to care for your pet. My dog and I already have a routine down, so your dog is welcome to join us on our walks for some socializing, or I am able to make time to spend with your dog on their own.

Your dog’s comfort and safety is my top priority. I know it must be uncomfortable to suddenly be in the care of a stranger, but I will make sure we gain each other’s trust. I am able to read body language and if your dog needs space, I am happy to give it. If your dog wants to cuddle or play, even better! I will make sure your dog follows any routines they are used to and will follow any house rules you have set.

A typical day
I love going for long walks, especially by the lake. If your dog is a fan of dog parks, we can totally go meet some new friends. We can find a place to play fetch or sit and watch birds. Your dog and I will have a great time exploring Chicago neighborhoods and parks!

My friends all say they’ve never met anyone who loves dogs as much as I do. My best friend is my chihuahua mix, Ms. Judy Pearl! Judy and I just returned from our greatest adventure living in Germany for a year for my job as an opera singer. She is happy to be back in Chicago and is always looking to make new friends! Judy is the 4th dog I’ve had, so I have lots of experience taking care of furry friends, especially my senior babies who have since passed. This experience has allowed me to be entrusted to care for dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs! As a musician, I have an incredibly flexible schedule. This means I can usually accommodate last minute requests or walks at any time of the day. This also means your dog might leave my care with a new appreciation for Mozart and a dream to be on the stage. We can discuss singing lessons 😉

Lucy was able to watch LJ when I had to go out of town on a last minute trip. She was extremely friendly and accommodating and gave LJ lots of love and walks. Nothing but good things to say!

Lucy was wonderful with my 1 year old very energetic dog. She kept me updated and sent pictures to me while I was at work. I will definitely recommend her to all my friends with dogs and will definitely use her services in future.🙂
Lucy was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet and sent great pictures and updates during her stay. In addition, she was a great houseguest, and even pulled the sheets from the bed she stayed in. I can't recommend her enough!
