I'm a recent college graduate and just moved back to the Plymouth area where I'm originally from. My full time job is hybrid so I have the flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. I'm available after work hours on weekdays (roughly 5pm give or take) and also have availability anytime on the weekends. I also have a car so it is easy for me to drive around the Plymouth area.

I care for pets in my own home by making sure the house is "dog proof" and ensuring there aren't any objects out that could harm the animal. I also care for pets in clients homes by respecting their space and making sure the home is neat after caring for their pet.

A typical day

My favorite activity with dogs is to take walks! I think it is great simulation both mentally and physically. I also enjoy getting the physical activity for myself and love fresh air outside. Rain, snow, sleet, or shine I think all walks are good for dogs to experience new atmospheres. I also love to play with dogs in the house with their favorite toys (and treats of course)!

Pet care experience

I love all kinds of dogs! My childhood wish finally came true when I was in high school and my parents decided to get a family dog when I was the only kid left in the house so a lot of responsibility fell on me. My family dog, Willie, is now 5 and I have been the primary care giver while pursing my academics. I understand the different needs for various types/ages of dogs such as length of walk, amount of food/treats, type of toys, attachment, etc.

Lucy was an amazing caregiver for my dog Izzy. Lucy was always a go to person to help out with Izzy when we needed and would always be willing to jump in. I always felt like Izzy was in the right hands and was safe when Lucy would take care of her and I could tell how much she loved Izzy like she was her own pet. She is very responsible, reliable, communicative, has great attention to detail, and compassionate about animals. I have also seen first hand how she takes care of her own dog Willie. She always gives him attention, goes on long walks, feeds him on time, and plays with him. Lucy will go above and beyond for any pet she takes care of and would be a great pet caregiver for anyone that needs it.

Lucy was a great caregiver for our high maintenance pup! She was very accommodating and happy to help in any way so that he was comfortable. She also did a great job ensuring the dog’s space was neat after stopping by so we didn’t come home to a mess. Super reliable!!

We had an incredible experience with Lucy watching our puppy. We were able to enjoy the whole day tailgating and going to the football game while receiving regularly updates from her. We would absolutely use her again.

Lucy has watched my dog in the past and was amazing! She is very responsible and great at taking care of dogs as well as having her own golden retriever that she loves to spend time with.
