25yr old vet student animal lover!
I have always loved animals, and specifically dogs. I got my lovely dog Max, when I was 16. I trained him, took him to the vets and have been obsessed with him ever since! I love taking him for long walks and playing endless fetch with him. After moving to university to do a zoology degree I missed him terribly so started walking a neighbours dog to fill the gap. Since then I’ve graduated from Newcastle with a BSc in Zoology, worked on a farm for two years and then worked at an emergency Vet hospital and referral practice. Ultimately, this inspired me to apply to go back to uni to study veterinary medicine which is what I’m doing now!

Safety, trust & environment
I am unable to sit pets in my house. However, in a pet owners home I would foster safety and trust by quietly spending time with the animal until they were comfortable with me, before spending some time in the garden/ outdoors getting to know the animals personality and temperament. After this, if we are both happy, I would take them on a local walk.
Ratings and reviews
Lucy helped train our cockapoo. Consistent and calm in equal measure she ensured he was road safe with excellent recall. Most impressively, she taught him to sit every time we get to a road crossing. He still does this today (at the age of seven) without any reminders. Lucy still takes Max on long walks when we have to work. He is always so excited to see her and worn out when they return! Lucy is a real dog lover and our dog, Max adores her!
Lucy has helped look after my collie cross for 3 years. Throughout this time she has been a trustworthy, reliable, patient and loving dog carer. My dog gets so excited seeing her and never appears happier than after a walk with Lucy! Lucy’s kindness never fails to amaze me she is very thoughtful and even got my dog a Christmas present. I would highly recommend Lucy to any of my friends- her love for dogs is genuine. This coupled with her kind and caring nature ensures your dog is in the safest and best hands. If you chose Lucy you can be guaranteed you will have one very happy dog!

Schedule
I currently am a veterinary student studying at the Royal Veterinary College in London. My availability with vary term to term depending on my lectures etc. However, I love an early morning or evening walk so will be happy to organise walks and visits around my studies.
