Pet care experience
Working from home and need some company
I’ve grown up with dogs and have been trusted with their care from a young age. I have extensive hands-on experience with a range of breeds, including high-energy dogs like Vizslas and my own Weimaraner. I’ve also cared for Labradors and French Bulldogs belonging to family and friends. Over the years, I’ve learned various training techniques and understand how to meet the unique needs of different dogs, especially those that require more physical activity and mental stimulation. Since moving out and leaving my dogs at my family home, I really miss having that daily interaction and would love the opportunity to care for other pets as if they were my own.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently stay in a large ground-floor flat with easy outdoor access, which makes walks and bathroom breaks convenient. While I’m not offering boarding or day care at my own home at the moment, I’m more than happy to care for pets in their own homes where they’re most comfortable. When providing daily care, I tailor the routine to the dog’s needs—this can include multiple walks throughout the day depending on the breed and energy level, along with shorter bathroom breaks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I aim to keep pets relaxed and happy by maintaining their usual routines as closely as possible.
Ratings and reviews
Lucy was fantastic! She took care of Maclary while we were away and sent regular photo updates that put our minds at ease. She followed our feeding schedule and instructions perfectly, and our puppy was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when we got home. Communication was easy and prompt throughout. We'd book with Lucy again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work full-time, with most days spent working from home and in the office only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I’m an early riser, so I have plenty of time in the mornings for walks, feeding, and playtime. I also take advantage of my lunch hour to get outside and give dogs a break, whether for a walk or just some company and stimulation. Even on my office days, I can arrange early morning and evening care, so your pet’s needs are always a priority in my schedule.

- It’s really helpful to know your pet’s daily schedule—including feeding times, walk routines, and sleep habits—so I can keep things consistent and stress-free for them. I’d also want to know about any additional needs like medications, allergies, or specific behavioral quirks (e.g. anxiety triggers, resource guarding, or reactivity). Information on how they are with other dogs or people is important too, especially for walks. Lastly, I’d love to know how their recall is off-lead and whether they’re allowed off-leash in certain areas. The more I know upfront, the better I can tailor my care to keep your pet safe, happy, and comfortable.
