I work from home on a varied, part-time schedule. I plan to use the late morning/early afternoon hours when I am typically free to do walks and/or check-ins and can do overnights as needed when my schedule allows.

Making sure there is not "people food" easily accessible to the pet when that's a concern, being mindful of small parts they may try to eat and choke on etc. Making sure the animal has enrichment activities to make it less likely they will chew on or destroy anything they aren't supposed to. Paying attention to notes on pet profiles, making myself aware of any concerns with cats/dogs/kids/food aggression etc. Being sure to lock & double check doors before bed or when leaving the property.

I have a dog who is a ninja at getting whatever is hiding the pill and not the pill lol, so I am experienced with having to use multiple different tricks over the course of a few days+ if needed. If your pets have any unusual quirks or atypical behaviors, body language, noises, etc, just let me know! I know everyone is different and the way your pets interact may look different than mine, all okay, I just like to know what to expect so that I can bug you as little as possible when you’re on vacation or at work, so you’ve got nothing but exciting notes and cute pics!
A typical day
I like to follow your pet’s lead based on their energy level and what they seem to want! I am very go with the flow, if they are feeling snuggles and scritches I will absolutely melt on the couch with them, if they want to play fetch or tug, we can do that too! If they’re practicing a new trick or command, we can work on that together!

Hello all! I am a huge animal lover and have been an avid volunteer at various shelters for many years. I have been a trusted sitter for many friends and family members, and have pets of my own who are very much part of my family. I have a great deal of experience with many different breeds, some positive reinforcement training experience, and some basic first aid/troubleshooting experience. I will always treat any animal within my care as my own, and take my responsibility of being trusted with someone's family member incredibly seriously.

Lucky is absolutely AMAZING!! They are so patient with our little Nubbler and take the best care of our kiddos. This was the first time ever leaving our two home alone and we have nothing to worry about ever. We will definitely book with Lucky again 🐾❤️
