I just moved back to the DMV area and I’m excited to start caring for animals again! I am very familiar with caring for dogs of all ages, including seniors who need extra patience and attention. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, including horses, cats, chinchillas, and birds, which gave me a strong understanding of different animal behaviors and temperaments. I am very patient, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether it’s an energetic puppy or an older dog who needs a slower pace, I adapt to each pet’s needs to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

I’m very attentive and aware of different animal behaviors from growing up around a wide range of animals, so I’m quick to pick up on what a dog needs and how they’re feeling. I’m especially patient with senior dogs but also comfortable with more energetic ones. I follow instructions closely and make sure each dog feels calm, safe, and genuinely cared for in their own environment.

Lucienne was very kind and responsible with our dog . She was on time and my dog very much enjoyed the walk.
Lucienne did a wonderful job watching our two black Labrador Retrievers. She took great care of them, kept them active, and treated them like her own. She sent us updates while we were away, which gave us peace of mind. When we picked them up, both dogs were happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend Lucienne to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy dog sitter. We wouldn't hesitate to leave our Labs with her again.

Schedule
I’m a freelance artist, so my schedule is very flexible and allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and can easily adjust to your dog’s routine, whether that’s multiple walks, slower-paced days, or just consistent company and care.
