Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine. Even though my family dog lives with my mum, I regularly dog sit for her and families dog, so I’m still very hands on. I work four days a week, leaving me with two to three days free for extra walks and cuddles. Furthermore, I can move my work schedule around for longer stays to ensure your pet has plenty of my time and attention. My home is spacious with plenty of room for pets to relax and play, and I’m lucky to live near beautiful fields and country parks, so every walk is full of fresh air, space to explore and plenty of tail wags. I work shifts on different days each week, so a little bit of notice is really helpful for arranging dog stays and walks. This way I can make sure I’m fully available to give your pet my full attention and care.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, pets have a safe and comfortable space where they can relax and feel at ease. I make sure they always have fresh water, regular toilet breaks, and a cosy spot to rest. Playtime, walks, and cuddles are part of the daily routine, and I keep a close eye on their behaviour to ensure they’re happy and healthy. I stick to their usual feeding schedules and any special routines so they feel right at home. We also have a back garden that isn’t too big, making it easy to keep an eye on pets while they enjoy the grass and explore within the safety of secure fencing.

Information Lucie W. would like to know about your pet
Before looking after a dog, it’s really helpful to know their daily routine, feeding times, and any special dietary needs. I’d like to know if they have any medical conditions, allergies, or medication they take. It’s also important to know how they behave on walks, whether they’re comfortable around other dogs, and if they have any fears or triggers. Information about their favourite activities, toys, and comfort items helps me make them feel at home, and knowing any house rules you follow ensures I can keep things consistent for them.
A typical day
A typical day of dog sitting starts with a morning toilet break and some fresh water, followed by a relaxed walk to stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh air. After breakfast, we might have some playtime with toys or just cuddle on the sofa if they prefer a quieter start. Midday often means another walk or some garden time in my secure, fenced lawn so they can sniff, explore, and soak up the sun. Throughout the day, I keep to their usual feeding times, give plenty of attention, and make sure they have a cosy spot to nap. In the evening, we’ll enjoy one last stroll or play session before winding down together so they feel happy, settled, and ready for a good night’s sleep.

Caring, reliable pet sitter & walker
Pet care experience
✅ DBS checked ✅ Experienced with all ages & breeds ✅ Flexible & reliable ✅ Rover Guarantee ✅ Fully insured through Protectivity for extra reassurance ✅ Driving License I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands on experience caring for different breeds and personalities. From playful pups to older dogs who need a gentler pace, I treat every dog like my own - keeping them safe, happy, and comfortable every step of the way. I’m unable to sit for dogs who are in heat, as their behaviours can sometimes be unpredictable (unless I’ve cared for them before and know them well). I also can’t take dogs who aren’t house trained — the odd little accident is absolutely fine, but they do need to be mostly trained at home.

Another great last minute stay for Arya! She loves her time at Lucie’s so much ♥️

Lucie was amazing. She met up with us couple weeks before to see the dogs and my home. The dogs loved her straight away Defo recommend using Lucie

We left our dog Merlin with Lucy over the weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better experience, it was our first time leaving him with a pet sitter and he is quite a nervous dog so I was a bit anxious leaving him but she was incredible with him. He took to her straight away and she was so accommodating of his needs to the point where she then had a little shadow following her around. We got so many updates and photos over the weekend so we knew he was having the best time, our dog is also reactive with other dogs so it was so amazing that she went out of her way to take him to quiet areas and to where he had lots of space so he was happy. We can't recommend Lucy enough we're definitely going to be using her whenever we're going away

Brilliant as always. My old dog milly absolutely loves being with Lucie and Andy, they treat her like their own.
