Hi! I’m Lucie and I’m a student studying here at NYU! Being here in New York is so amazing, but it means being away from my two beautiful dogs back at home (I miss you Max and Moby!). My education is very valuable to me, but so is my connection to pets. I’m hoping to connect with other dogs and dog-families while supporting myself through my education. I’ve been house sitting and dog walking for families since I was around 13. Walks included hikes, runs, and scenic routes! I love being able to learn what each dog needs and adapt through time spent with them. My family had many dogs growing up, including fosters, so I have had experience resolving conflicts between different dogs. I think our pets are family, and I hope to make them feel like that when they are with me!

Safety, trust & environment
For home stays and pop-in visits my priority will be to listen and watch for what each pet needs in their own space. My goal is to make them feel comfortable! Similarly for walks, I will let each dog set the pace as they show me what they want to smell or where they want to go.

Lucie did a great job sitting for my dog, Frankie. Frankie can be slow to warm up to new people in her space and Lucie was patient and welcoming to Frankie, helping her get settled in while I was away. Lucie kept me updated during the stay. Will definitely book again. Thanks!
Lucie took great care of Ruth while I was traveling overnight. She’s incredibly reliable and provided consistent updates. Hope to have her look after Ruth in the future!

Lucie is incredibly responsive and is amazing with our Doudou. She was such a huge help in getting him to and from his grooming appointment and was incredibly flexible given the short notice!
Any pets would be lucky to have Lucie take care of them! Lucie grew up with dogs and cats most of her life and has a natural and loving way with them all. She is super responsible and I promise you won’t be disappointed with the care she gives to your pets and home.
I was running late for a conference and Lucie offered to take care of my frenchie lulu, and when I came back lulu was pampered and resting. She normally is a very energetic and aggressive dog but Lucie seemed to just have that natural touch, I employed her for a couple of months until she had to leave for school. I know that she will take care of any dog as if it were her own, she caring, and absolutely loves animals!!

Schedule
I'm currently working part-time, so there is plenty of time in my schedule for pop-in visits, walks, or stays! My days off would include dedicated time to your pets.
