Loving care when you can't be there
I've had the privilege of growing up with dogs since I was little, so their day to day needs come naturally to me. Around 10 years old I took my love for animals to a new level by beginning to walk dogs in my neighborhood. The families that I worked for trusted me to care for their fur babies and I loved each of them as if they were my own. Over the years I have worked with a variety of dogs, small and large breeds, sweet & easy going dogs, reactive / more difficult dogs, and rescue as well. At the age of 21 I began working at a veterinary clinic and currently still work within the industry. The experience has given me immense hands-on knowledge and a deeper understanding of the medical side of pet care, animal welfare and everything it truly means to be a responsible pet owner. I believe the combination of my personal & professional experience as well as genuine love for animals sets me apart. I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable and loved and would be honored to provide that same level of care for your pets too.

My top priority is ensuring that your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved, whether they are in my home or their own familiar environment. Every pet has different needs and routines, so I do my best to follow their schedule as closely as possible to keep things stress-free and make them feel happy and comfortable. I provide lots of attention, cuddles, playtime, walks, and whatever else may be needed for each individual dog. With my experience in the veterinary field, I pay close attention to behavior, comfort levels, and overall wellbeing to ensure your pet is receiving the best possible care while you’re away.

For as long as I have known Lucie, I can attest that she is the greatest with animals. We could be on a casual walk, and every dog wants to greet her, it’s amazing! She has a background in the vet industry and working with behavioural dogs. There’s no better person I could imagine to care for someone’s pets. She is so deeply loving and nurturing towards animals, especially with her own elderly dog. She has the heart to love every animal she meets, and the power of every animal loving her back!

Schedule
Caring for animals is part of both my personal and professional life. I currently work full-time in a veterinary clinic and love spending my free time caring for pets as well (my own dog included!). I'm currrently available for evening drop-ins during the week and dog walks or additional care on the weekends!

- I would love to know about your pet's personality, daily routine, energy level, and any particular likes or dislikes. It's also very important for me to know about any dietary restrictions (such as allergies), medical conditions, medications, or mobility needs. I'd also appreciate knowing about any fears, anxiety triggers, or behavioral quirks they may have so I can make sure they feel comfortable and secure. If they have favorite walking routes, special training cues, or favorite toys and games, I'd love to incorporate those into our time together. My goal is to make every pet feel happy, safe, and comfortable while they're in my care. By following their normal routine and getting to know what they enjoy most, I aim to make their experience feel as familiar and stress-free as possible.
