A loving family home
We’ve had six years of experience caring for our much loved cocker spaniel and on top of that Alex was brought up with dogs his whole life, caring for greyhounds, collies and many rescues. We've also looked after many of our friends' dogs in our home and can tailor the stay to your pup's needs to make them feel happy, relaxed and loved. We would love to welcome your pup into our family home, where they will be treated as part of the family and can expect lovely walks in the beautiful woodland right on our doorstep, plenty of cuddles on the sofa and good company from our friendly cocker spaniel. Our son and daughter, aged 3 and 18 months (in nursery during the week) have grown up with our cocker spaniel and adore animals, while also knowing how to respect and give them space. We’ve used Rover many times, so we know what it’s like to leave your furry friend and can make sure we cater to your needs and provide lots of photos of their stay.

I can’t recommend Lucie highly enough. She is a genuinely caring, loving, and a responsible person who absolutely adores dogs, and it shows in the way she looks after them. She treats every dog as if it were her own, giving them plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and cuddles. It’s clear that dogs are a huge part of their family life, and any dog staying with them will be welcomed as part of the family too. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and experienced to care for your dog, I would look no further!
We couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after our dog! They are incredibly responsible, caring and attentive, and we felt completely confident knowing our dog was in such good hands. They also have a very well-trained dog themselves, so they clearly understand dogs, their needs and how to care for them properly. Our dog was happy, settled and clearly very well looked after. We would happily recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring and reliable to look after their dog. We’ll definitely be asking them again!

Schedule
Both Alex and I work from home during the week and as I'm also self-employed your pup will always be with one of us during the day. We live in a family home, where the sofas double as dog beds, and we have a very secure fenced garden, so your pup can go out as often as they need. We're home all day to provide toilet breaks whenever needed, access to the garden, play and weekend adventures if your doggie stays with us over the weekend.

Our home becomes your pup's home. As every dog is different, we listen to what best suits your dog with walks, relaxation and any specific needs to make sure they're happy, and get the same routine they'd have at home.

A typical day
We live right next to some beautiful woodlands and parks, so fun walks and new things to sniff are guaranteed. We’ll provide snuffle mats, toys for stimulation and lots of cuddles on the sofa. Your pup will be in good company with our very friendly cocker spaniel, who is a sociable, loving dog and has done plenty of Rover visits and day cares himself. We'll keep you updated on how they’re getting on and send you plenty of photos of your pup's holiday throughout. We can't wait to meet your pup. Lucie & Alex
