Animal lover happy to help out!
I have owned pets all my life and currently have 10 cats, 2 guinea pigs and a dog! All of the animals I have owned I have rescued with my family and have ranged from puppies/kittens to elderly animals aswell as rescuing a one eyed cat and helping him through surgery. Therefore, I have lots of experience in both bringing up and looking after all types and ages of animals. During my current gap year I am looking to build up my experience and awareness in animal care before I attend university for veterinary science in 2026. Currently, I am a volunteer at HooZoo where I help look after the animals, a petsitter and I am also completing various animal care courses to make me even better suited for my future career.

Lucia looked after Lola when we went on holiday and we were a bit nervous as we had never used a dog sitter before. But as soon as we met Lucia all our worries went! She was absolutely lovely and Lola was very happy too! We had regular updates and photos so we knew Lola was happy and safe ☺️ We will not hesitate again to have Lucia back when we go away again!
I can't recommend Lucia enough. My girls absolutely love spending time with her and she will always keep me updated throughout their time together. Lucia will get back to you, about requests, no matter how much short notice you give. We will continue to use Lucia any time we need a dog sitter. Thanks for everything. X
Lucia is amazing. She was so quick to respond to me and then set up a meet and greet, making sure my girls were settled. She sends updates throughout the time she is with them as well, which is so reassuring. I would recommend Lucia to anyone.
I can't recommend Lucia highly enough! She took exceptional care of my two sausage dogs, Coco and Luna, while I was away. Lucia went above and beyond, sending me regular updates with photos that reassured me my dogs were in great hands. She stuck to their routine perfectly, ensuring they were comfortable and happy the entire time. When I returned home, the house was left just as I left it. Knowing Coco and Luna were so well cared for made my time away stress-free. I would definitely book her again :)
Lucia has been a godsend, responding at short notice to cat-feeding requests for my ageing rescue cat, Fleur. Cat happy, owner happy, will use again.

Schedule
I'm currently a volunteer at HooZoo one day a week which is very flexible and I can move around the days I attend quite easily. This means the rest of my time I prioritise for petsitting. I am available most days of the week and upon discussion am happy to do full days/ overnight stays.

Safety, trust & environment
I am happy to do both short drop ins for feeds/company/walks as well as staying for longer periods. When caring for pets, I make their safety my top priority by ensuring they are always supervised, kept in secure spaces, and walked on-leash. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, exercise, and medication. . To build trust, I provide regular photo updates and communicate openly so owners feel reassured while they’re away.
