I've grown up around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for a variety of breeds, including Beagles, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, German Shepherds, border collies and Labradors. Through owning and walking dogs, I've learned how to read canine body language, respect boundaries, and handle dogs calmly and confidently on walks. I also have experience preventing leash pulling and helping dogs stay focused and comfortable during walks. In addition to my hands-on experience, I've spent years learning about dog behaviour and training techniques through educational resources and dog rehabilitation programs. For the past two years, I've been the primary caregiver for my indoor domestic shorthair cat, who is now five years old. I handle all aspects of their daily care, including feeding, playtime, grooming, monitoring their wellbeing, and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, and I always aim to provide patient, attentive, and loving care.
