I work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means your dog will have my company and supervision throughout the day. My routine is easily adaptable to your pet's specific needs: Constant Supervision: Since I’m home, I can provide frequent potty breaks and plenty of attention. Your dog won't be left alone for long hours. Flexible Breaks: I can easily step away from my desk for walks, playtime, or a quick belly rub whenever your dog needs it. Morning & Evening Walks: My flexible hours allow me to maintain your dog's usual exercise routine, whether they prefer early morning strolls or longer afternoon adventures. Regular Updates: Being at my computer allows me to send you photos and updates throughout the day, so you can see how much fun your pup is having!

I adapt to every dog's unique routine and habits: I know that every pup has their own personality and "rules." That’s why I make it a priority to adapt to their specific customs: Routine Consistency: Whether your dog eats at 7 AM sharp, needs a specific treat after a walk, or has a favorite sleeping spot, I will stick to their routine to keep them feeling secure. Individual Habits: Does your dog prefer the left side of the sidewalk? Do they need "quiet time" after a meal? I pay close attention to these small details to make sure they feel right at home. Personalized Care: During our first meeting, I’ll ask about their quirks and favorite things so I can be the best possible companion for them.

Information Lucia J. would like to know about your pet
Important information I need to know in advance: To ensure your pet has the best possible experience, please share the following details with me: Health & Meds: Any medical conditions, allergies, or medications (including dosage and instructions). Daily Routine: Their usual feeding times, walk schedules, and where they typically sleep. Behavior with Others: How do they react to other dogs, cats, or strangers during walks? Are they easily spooked by loud noises (like thunder or motorcycles)? Leash Manners: Do they pull on the leash or have any specific triggers I should be aware of? Dietary Rules: Are they allowed treats? Do they have a habit of "counter-surfing" or eating things off the ground? Home Alone: How do they handle being alone for short periods (e.g., if I need to step out for groceries)? Emergency Contact: Your preferred vet’s info and an emergency contact person.
A typical day
A Typical Day & Fun Activities Since I work from home, your pup becomes my "Chief Happiness Officer" for the day! Here is what a typical day looks like: Morning Energy: We start with a refreshing morning walk to sniff around and get the day going. After breakfast, they can settle in my home office while I work. Mid-day Play: I take regular "brain breaks" to play tug-of-war, throw a ball in the hallway, or practice some fun tricks. It’s the perfect way to keep them engaged! Outdoor Adventures: During my flexible lunch hour, we head out for a longer stroll or visit a local park to stretch those legs. Office Snuggles: While I’m focused on my laptop, your dog will have a cozy spot right next to me for naps and ear scratches. Evening Wind-down: We finish the day with another walk and some relaxing wind-down time before you pick them up or we settle in for the night. The Fun Part: I love to keep their minds active! Depending on what they like, we can do "find the treat" games, play with puzzle toys, or just enjoy some extra long belly-rub sessions.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Lucia!! I recently spent 10 wonderful years raising and caring for my own dog, an experience that shaped me into the dedicated sitter I am today. Having my own furry companion taught me that dogs aren't just pets—they are family. Because of those 10 years of firsthand experience, I am deeply familiar with canine needs, from nutrition and exercise to recognizing when they just need some quiet space. In addition to raising my own dog, I have spent years caring for my friends' and family's pets, adapting to different breeds and temperaments. I promise to treat your pup with the same love, patience, and attention that I gave my own for a decade.
Reviews

We left our lovely Rio with her during our visit to our parents. She took care of him pretty well and was very easy to Communicate. Thank You! See you again!
Lucia took wonderful care of my dog, Bruno, for five days and I couldn’t be happier with her help. She was responsible, attentive, and clearly very loving with him. Bruno felt comfortable and happy the entire time, and I had complete peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.
