I currently work part-time, so I'm very available for dog walks, daycare and often for overnight boarding. I host puppy therapy events once or twice a week, and am looking to be busier with production work later in the summer, but right now I'm free to spend time walking and caring for your dog!

I grew up with dogs and have loved them my whole life, although I don’t own one myself yet! Through years of family experience, and now working with puppies every week, I’m confident caring for dogs properly and making sure they feel safe and well looked after. In my home, dogs will have a clean, comfortable space, access to a garden, and plenty of care and attention throughout the day from a calm, adoring animal-lover. I also live near lots of green spaces, so dogs can enjoy proper walks and time outdoors. I’d always follow the owner’s instructions around feeding, walks, routines, sleeping arrangements etc. Whether in my home or theirs, I’d treat every dog with the same warmth, care and responsibility I would my own.

Pet care experience
I’ve been an animal lover all my life, and I’m currently lucky enough to work part-time helping to socialise young puppies before they head off to their forever homes. I absolutely love this role, and it has reminded me how much joy dogs bring into everyday life. I also spent three months volunteering in Spain a few years ago, looking after rescue animals, including three large dogs who I loved with all my heart. I've grown up with dogs all my life, but since I moved out, I only get the chance to visit my mum's three miniature dachshunds once every two weeks. I live in a lovely house in Lower Clapton with a garden, close to Hackney Downs, Millfields Park and Hackney Marshes, so there are plenty of great green spaces nearby. I’m often out walking with my boyfriend and housemates, and we’d love the chance to welcome dogs along with us and into our home.

Lucia has looked after my Bedlington whippet, Oishi multiple times. I always feel calm when I know he is with Lucia as she loves dogs, is organised, and always knows how to meet his needs and keep him happy. He is always excited to be with Lucia, and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Lucia has been brought up with dogs, most recently with dachshunds of which I have three. She was present at the birth of the younger two and has always been amazingly good with them. She has travelled far and wide all over the world and made canine friends everywhere (whether they be street dogs in Mexico or pampered pooches in Spain) so I can always be sure of getting lots of dog photos from her. She seems to get on with all types and they are drawn to her. I would consider myself lucky to have her look after mine and I know that she would enjoy looking after them.
