I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and even fish (yes, I loved them too haha!). I’ve looked after many friends’ dogs and can happily provide references. I currently have a dog and a cat, although they live with my parents in Scotland😊. What truly sets me apart is my background in Zoology. I don’t just love animals... I’ve studied them! I have hands-on experience caring for both playful puppies and gentle senior dogs, and I understand the distinct needs of each life stage. I have been helping dogs of all temperaments, including those who are nervous, anxious, or reactive. I understand that at the end of the day, they just want a kind human who can offer love, patience, guidance, and attention. My goal is to help every dog feel calm, safe, and confident, especially in new environments. You can trust that your pet will be cared for with genuine love, patience, and understanding. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritise creating a calm, familiar environment so they feel secure and at ease. I stick closely to their usual routines whether that’s feeding times, walk schedules, or play habits to reduce stress and keep things consistent. I’m respectful of your home and follow any instructions you leave down to the detail. I always make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure, and I never leave pets unattended in situations that might pose a risk. I also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and in loving hands. I had pet sitters myself before and I completely understand how stressful it can be when they don't update enough! Above all, I treat every animal as if they were my own, with care, patience, and genuine affection.

Lucia was absolutely wonderful! She responded quickly and was available to help us despite the very short notice of just a few days. She even came by the day before to meet our puppy and familiarise herself with his care routine. During the sitting, she sent us photos and updates about what our puppy was doing, which put our minds completely at ease. She was very attentive and arrived right on time. Next time we need a sitter, we’ll definitely be going back to Lucia! ❤️

Lucia was very good with our two cats. We have specific requests for the time they must eat and she did everything well as requested by us. Communication was perfect, Lucia answers very quickly. The apt was very tidy when we came back, as if we hadn’t left. Our two maine coons were treated very well. I highly recommend Lucia.
I had a fabulous experience with Lucia. The cats immediately loved her and were super comfortable with her coming in. She was really communicative and shared updates and pictures of the cats and I felt really safe knowing she was coming in each day.

Schedule
I'm available weekends for walks, boarding and/or anything else needed. During weekdays I am available after 6pm, and some days even earlier. Please just check with me.
