I'm available weekends for walks, boarding and/or anything else needed. During weekdays I am available after 6pm, and some days even earlier. Please just check with me.

When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritise creating a calm, familiar environment so they feel secure and at ease. I stick closely to their usual routines whether that’s feeding times, walk schedules, or play habits to reduce stress and keep things consistent. I’m respectful of your home and follow any instructions you leave down to the detail. I always make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure, and I never leave pets unattended in situations that might pose a risk. I also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and in loving hands. I had pet sitters myself before and I completely understand how stressful it can be when they don't update enough! Above all, I treat every animal as if they were my own, with care, patience, and genuine affection.

To give your pet the best care possible, it’s really helpful to know their daily routine, personality, and any special needs. Things like their feeding schedule, medical conditions, behaviour around other animals, favourite toys or activities, and any habits (good or cheeky!) are all important to share. I’d also love to know how they respond to new people, how they like to be approached or comforted, and anything that might cause them stress so I can make them feel as safe and comfortable as possible. The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to suit your pet’s unique personality and needs.

Every pet is different, so I tailor activities to suit their personality and energy levels. For dogs, that might mean long walks, interactive play with their favourite toys, a bit of training reinforcement, or just a good old belly rub and cuddle session. If your dog loves a game of fetch or sniffing out new scents in the park, I’m all in! For cats, I make sure they get plenty of stimulation and affection on their terms whether that’s playing with feather toys, chasing string, or simply enjoying a calm grooming session or lap time if they’re more relaxed. My goal is to keep your pet not only safe and well cared for, but also happy, engaged, and emotionally settled while you're away.

What sets me apart from other sitters is that I genuinely care about making pets feel safe, understood and loved while their owner is away. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can truly trust, so I always do my best to make them feel comfortable, relaxed and cared for as if they were my own. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, and little quirks, because every animal is different. Some need lots of play and attention, some need patience and reassurance, and others just want a calm presence nearby. I’m happy to adapt to whatever helps them feel most at ease. I’m comfortable caring for both young pets and senior animals, whether that means keeping a puppy engaged and consistent with routines, or giving an older pet a gentler pace, extra comfort, and close attention. I’m also very reliable and detail-oriented, so I’ll always respect feeding routines, walk schedules, medication instructions, and any special requests you have. For me, pet sitting isn’t just about covering the basics; it’s about making sure your pet feels happy, secure, and genuinely cared for until you’re back home.

I’m really happy with the care Lucia provided for my cats. She was thoughtful, quick to solve problems, caring, and very proactive whenever something needed dealing with while I was on holidays. She kept me updated with lots of photos, which was really reassuring while I was away. I felt my cats were in good hands and would happily book with her again.
