Dog lover needing a puppy fix
I have always loved dogs. Growing up, my dog was pretty much my brother -and the king of the household, of course. As an adult, I got Angel, my White German Shepherd, from a rescue organization. She was my daughter, the love of my life. I said goodbye to her in October 2021, and I have her in my heart. No day goes by I don't think of her. Her last year was difficult, as she had degenerative myelopathy, and I cared for her all by myself during the pandemic. I have taken care of friends' dogs here and there, as I have a real connection with most dogs. I can provide references upon request. I am a runner and I love to be outside, so if your puppy needs a little jog instead of a stroll, I am your sitter!

Once again, Lucia took wonderful care of my Ruby! Lucia took her on long walks, sent me daily photos and videos and let her sit on her lap while she was working.... This is my second 8 day trip that Lucia took care of Ruby. Ruby keeps going to her bedroom to look for her. Lucia is highly recommended!
Lucia is amazing! She is so kind, and caring with Leroy, he absolutely loves getting to stay with her. She also sends the sweetest pictures. It is definitely a vacation for Leroy, and he never wants to leave his “girlfriend”! We drive Leroy 45 minutes to have Lucia watch him, because she is the best!
Our dogs were happy and well taken care of by Lucia!
Lucia was great! She communicated very well and even sent pictures daily. My dog really enjoyed her stay with Lucia.
Lucia was wonderful! Leroy instantly felt comfortable with her, and had such a great time. She was great with communication, and sent the cutest pictures. So glad we found her!
Lucia was wonderful with my senior (15yr old) schnoodle. My dog, Hattie, has gotten very quirky... Lucia just figured her out. She asked all the right questions and even added rugs by her furniture so Hattie could hop up with her bad hips. Lucia will be my 1st contact when I travel next.

Schedule
I am currently working from home, so I can care for dogs at my place, and take breaks as needed. In case of walks or dog visits, I can do them before work and when I take breaks myself.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a single family house. I have an unfenced yard, so I will take your dog outside on a leash. If your senious dog cannot walk too much, I will take him/her (leashed) to my yard. Otherwise, we'll go on walks around my neighborhood, which is very quiet. I live at a cul-de-sac, so we can walk around -and even climb- a big rock!
A typical day
I have a lots of toys that belonged to Angel, and we'll go for walks around the neighborhood. And lots of snuggling on the couch!
