I'm so happy to be back on Rover! After a few years of traveling, my fur kids [Tipsy + Carrera] and I are settled back in NoVA and I cannot wait to play with your pups! My girls have gotten older and cannot do as frequent of walks, so I look forward to giving your dog the walk and attention they deserve [my girls promise they are also excited for me to do so!]! I have grown up with dogs; since the day I was born I have been surrounded by black labs, german shorthairs, and Rottweilers. I have trained all my dogs and have had over 20 years experience. I was a professional dog walker in the past and am bringing with me patience, kindness, joy, and love for our furry friends. I work with both gentle and aggressive dogs as well as puppies and those that require a little extra attention. My communication style is friendly and open. With dogs I am exceptionally patient and highly aware of their personalities. With humans, I pride myself on my communication and responsiveness, ensuring the owner feels confident in my care of their pet. I have a flexible schedule and am willing to work with owners to meet their scheduling needs and the specific needs of the dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether it is a walk or petsitting, safety is of first and foremost importance for me. We never go outside until the leash is securely on your fur-baby. I always like to get to know the dog well to be prepared for any of his/her tendencies (Squirrel!!!!) and keep a very vigilant eye when I am with him/her.

I booked ongoing walking with Luci and had a good experience with her and getting updates with my pup. Meet and greet went great but I’m totally bummed out that this took a turn of events when she did not show for a scheduled walk. We also had communication issues and sometimes did not get a response. Sunday I messaged her to confirm the walks this week. Monday I was charged for them. Tuesday she showed up for one of the scheduled walks and Thursday was a no show. I messaged several times with no response. When I finally got a hold of her she said she was out of town and that I should not have been able to book her because she was away. She never mentioned she would be out of town this week. She also came for her scheduled walk on Tuesday so I’m not sure how we got to where we did. It’s truly disappointing because we thought it was such a great fit. I think her ability to care for dogs is good and I felt safe having her walk my pup. It’s just unfortunate that a communication or lack there of issue occurred and others should know.
