I don’t just “watch” pets, I pay close attention to their routines, energy levels, and personalities so they feel comfortable and understood. I’m patient with puppies and kittens and can reinforce basic training like potty routines, leash manners, and simple commands. I’m also gentle and attentive with senior dogs and senior cats making sure they’re comfortable, sticking to medication schedules if needed, and keeping their activity appropriate for their age.

Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely including feeding schedules, medication, exercise routines, and any house rules to keep things consistent and stress-free for the pet. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space and keep everything clean and secure. I double-check doors, gates, and leashes, and I make sure pets are never left in unsafe situations. I also pay close attention to behavior changes so I can quickly respond if something seems off. If I’m caring for a pet in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, comfort, and structured routine. I make sure pets have a safe place to rest, regular potty breaks, fresh water, and lots of attention. Building trust with both pets and owners is important to me, so I provide updates, photos, and clear communication throughout the stay. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for just like they would at home.

Lucas was very friendly and we made a connection right away. He was very communicative and took good care of my kiddos (golden retriever and cat). He house sat for me over the weekend while I was away and sent me updates daily. He also left the house very clean. I’ve already booked my next house sitting with him😌
Lucas house sat my two senior dogs and he was very caring. He checked in on them multiple times per a day, and updated me with photos which put my mind at ease while traveling. Lucas is great with dogs and I would book with him again.
Lucas was an absolutely incredible Rover sitter for our two dogs, and I cannot recommend him enough. Leaving your pets with someone else can feel stressful, but Lucas immediately made us feel comfortable and confident that they were in great hands. His communication was fantastic the entire time. He sent regular updates, photos, and little notes about how the dogs were doing, which made it so easy to relax while we were away. It was clear they were getting plenty of attention, exercise, and love. When we got home, the dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. It honestly felt like they had their own little vacation while we were gone. Lucas is responsible, thoughtful, and genuinely great with animals. If you're looking for someone trustworthy and attentive to watch your pets, Lucas is the best. We will absolutely be booking with him again!
We've been lucky enough to have Lucas care for our 3 cats and 3 dogs (quite the handful) on a few occasions. He is excellent at ensuring they are fed on time and that all the animals receive plenty of attention. He happily follows any special requests, and we never worry about our furbabies when he's looking after them.
Lucas has always had a natural connection with animals. He’s responsible, patient, and genuinely attentive to their needs. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, making sure pets get plenty of exercise, or simply giving them extra love and comfort, he shows up fully. I would absolutely trust Lucas to care for any pet as if it were his own.

Schedule
I’m currently going to college but I’m free anytime after 2pm. But Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine because I intentionally make time for it. I structure my schedule to allow for consistent visits, walks, feeding times, and check-ins, so pets get reliable care and attention not rushed dropins. On a daily basis, I’m used to planning around feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and cleaning, which makes caring for pets feel like a normal part of my routine rather than an extra task. Throughout the week, I make sure I’m available for repeat visits and flexible enough to adjust to a pet’s specific needs, whether that’s extra walks, medication, or more one-on-one time. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze in it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize.
