Safety, trust & environment
When I visit your home, it is always my intention to respect the space and honor your preferences. Depending on the energy level of the dog(s) I am visiting, we can play, relax, or go on a walk together. I'll make sure their fed, given enough water, and are well attended to. While at your home, I respect your space as sacred and private.
Information Lucas P. would like to know about your pet
Dietary Scheduling: When to eat, what to eat, and how much. Medical Concerns or Behavioral Issues: This would allow me to be aware of anything that may come up, so that it is less unexpected. Past Trauma or Specific Fear/Discomfort Triggers: I would also like to be told if there are any triggers stemming from trauma (or otherwise), so that I can be careful of that particular stimulus (ex: being pet in a certain area, or certain sounds). Discipline: Please let me know if you want me to discipline your pup for certain mistakes, and in which way. I will do my best to respect these requests.
A typical day
We'll play in the home or outside, whether a game of fetch or tug of war. If they aren't feeling all too playful, I can just give them some pets and affirmations (and maybe a treat if they're allowed to have one).

Pet care experience
I admire animals for their innate joy and curiosity. While I have two cats, I love spending time with dogs, enjoying walks, and playing around. My greatest skills are listening and providing vocal affirmation. I understand that different dogs require varying levels and types of attention and encouragement. During my time with your dog(s), I'll be attentive to their needs and personality. Some dogs love to play, others prefer rest and affection, and some just want to hear they're doing a good job. My goal is to ensure your pets feel loved and cared for while you're away.
Reviews

Lucas is great!! He’s one of my favorite Rovers! Super with my dogs, offered to get dog food when I forgot to refill my supply before I left for my trip. I had some delivered so he put it in the canister for me. He left my house clean, put all his dishes in the dishwasher, and even stripped the bedding before he left.
An attentive, accommodating, and capable pet sitter..! Keeps a good line of communication and leaves a space clean. My shy animals warmed up to Lucas quick!

Lucas was amazing with both my dogs! Kept us updated, sent photos and videos and even brought them treats and toys! My dogs loved him so much!
Great walker
