Everyone knows that each pet responds differently to their parents leaving, so I like to go with the flow, making sure they are comfortable. If they want to spend a lot of their time relaxing and by themselves, I will give them their space, but will I always be there for them if they want to play!

A typical day
The basics are always a necessity as long as it’s in the regular routine. Walking, running, fetch, tug-of-war and car rides. If it is a cat, regular indoor playing, hide and seek and window watching.

I believe pet care is more than feeding and letting them out. I take the time to interact, play, and be present, so they feel relaxed and cared for while their owners are away. Whether a pet wants activity or quiet company, I make sure they get the attention they need. I’ve spent many years raising and caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and birds. With that experience, I know how to help animals feel safe and comfortable quickly, and I’m able to build trust and a positive connection with them!

Lucas has checked in and fed my cat many times over the past six years. He is thorough with communication and precisely follows directions. My timid cat takes a while to familiarize herself with new people and Lucas’s patience helps her feel safe in his presence. Lucas is a dependable person that you can trust to be in your home and in care of your furry family members!
