It’s helpful to know their feeding schedule, exercise needs, and whether they take any medications. I also like to learn about their favorite toys and activities, how they do around other pets or people, and if they have any quirks or fears I should be mindful of. The more I know ahead of time, the easier it is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away

As a current freshman at Davidson College, I balance my classes with something I truly enjoy—spending time with pets. A typical day with me includes sticking to your pet’s routine while making sure they get plenty of fun and attention. I love starting with a walk or some playtime, then giving meals, potty breaks, and lots of cuddles throughout the day. Depending on your pet’s personality, that could mean fetch, tug-of-war, training games, or just hanging out together. My goal is to make every day stress-free and enjoyable for your pet, just like it would be if you were home.
