When it comes to weekends, I'm a true Hoboken homebody at heart. I usually stick around the neighborhood, and I'm always up for the company of a furry friend!

Feel free to give me the lowdown on any special requests for your pup's care – there's no such thing as too big an ask. When it comes to boarding, an FYI that my roommate is also on Rover. If you'd prefer your dog to have our place all to themselves, just let me know, and I'll make sure she's not hosting another pup at the same time. Your dog's comfort is our top priority!
A typical day
At work, taking breaks and looking after my mental health is a top priority, so why not spend those moments on a pup walk, snuggle, or playtime? On weekends, I love escaping the apartment and soaking up the lively Hoboken streets. And, of course, a visit to the dog park is a must if the pup is up for it. As for nights, well, I hope your furry friend is a Bravo fan, because they'll find themselves right next to me on the couch, enjoying a binge-watch session of whatever show I'm craving.

Pet care experience
Hey! Lifelong dog enthusiast, here. I grew up in a home that was basically a canine clubhouse, with up to 5 dogs at a time. They weren’t just pets to me; they became a part of who I am. I’m ALWAYS down for a furry adventure, from teaching and hanging out with puppies to taking long walks and trips to the park. And as dogs get older, I'm passionate about making sure they have a warm and loving environment. I can’t wait to meet your pup!

We’ve used Lucas a couple of times now for overnight boarding and most recently for a long stay of 10 nights. Archie comes back happy, well cared for, and tired. He loves being boarded with other dogs too. Lucas is reasonably flexible with pick up and drop offs which is super helpful! He always sends updates when we ask. It can be hard to find someone that will take on a big dog in Hoboken and were very glad we found Lucas.

Second stay with Lucas and the kids seem to be well taken care of. He was very responsive to texts and accommodating when I needed a late pickup. Would definitely come back for more vacastays for the pups!
Ziggy had a great time with Luca! We received adorable photos of our little guy while we were away which were incredibly reassuring (and lovely to see our pup living his best life). Luca clearly is great with dogs and we are so glad to have found such a caring home (in our neighborhood) for our schnauzer!!
