Teacher on break, love pups!
I’m a teacher on summer break with all the time in the world to spoil your pup! I’ve been a cat owner my whole life, a dog owner since I was 10, and been taking care of neighbors and roommates pets since 10 as well. 8-week puppies, senior dogs, anxious pups, and multi pet households (including 2 dogs and 3 cats). From stopping by once to 2 week jobs. I lead an active lifestyle and would be happy to take your dogs to your local park, the park across the street from my apartment or up to the mountains for a hike! However your dog is accustomed to getting its love and exercise I’d love to give it to them.

Always reachable by phone! Clients home: I can spend as much or as little time with pets in their home environment as they prefer, and love playing with pets of all sizes from cats to Berners! Always carry a roll of poop bags and check for clean paws and bellies before re-entering the home. My home: Quiet neighborhood. One cat in the home. Cat has lived with a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Golden retriever in the past with no issues. Mostly keeps to herself but will safely establish her boundaries if need be. I have ample space for lounging and my furniture is from Goodwill so all furry friends are allowed up. For playtime and walks my apartment is a bit small for any medium to large dogs, but I live across the street from Jefferson Park, half a mile from Sloan’s Lake, and have local dog-owning friends to play with!

Lucas went above and beyond from start to finish and made our first nervous time using Rover very comfortable. He had great, fast communication, flexibility with timing, and arranged a speedy, no pressure meet up to make sure Dottie and his cat could get along prior to us booking the stay. Getting updates and pics was really nice. I would definitely use him in the future and recommend him as a good caregiver. Thanks for your help, Lucas. You were a lifesaver!

Did a great job taking care of my golden doodle while I was away! Was always quick to respond and took her on hikes and kept me informed with pictures throughout. Would rebook again!

Schedule
I’m a teacher on summer break so I can accomodate any schedule. My own cat needs breakfast and dinner and some quality cuddle time, but I have far more flexibility and availability than most dogs with working owners are used to!
